Well located location on the water. Staff friendly. Menu regional, but few dishes. 26 euros for a fried carp is ambitious? Recommended for larger groups in summer.

When you arrive you think the navigation system has lost its way. But then: Wow, bright hotel, well-kept coffee garden. Inviting.Staff friendly.Rooms clean and right on the water, lots of parking spaces, food great.Breakfast was great, even red and black caviar.In the evening on the balcony directly above the water, next to a large mill wheel. Very romantic.

Very nice guesthouse. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished, with a great view of the mill and the small river. The staff is very accommodating and nice and really makes an effort. The restaurant with a beer garden and a view over the lake is also great. A little tip for celebrations and weddings. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast is great. All in all we felt very comfortable here. The only two, albeit small, drawbacks: The bed creaks with every movement, but that's not so bad. What was stupid was that we couldn't use the beautiful little balcony by the river in the evening because apparently all the garden spiders in the area had gathered here. You should really do something about it.Still, all thumbs up. We will be back. 👍🏻

Here you can observe a rotating mill wheel, which is connected to a small electricity generator. There is also information available about the history and technical side of the mill. There is also a hotel and a restaurant in this place.

A very nice place. We were invited to a private celebration there. Great location right on the water, tables right on the lake, just great. The buffet food was tasty and sufficient. The place is worth a trip!I can't rate the room, we didn't stay there.

The Maustmühle is a great destination to eat an exceptionally good meal in a very nice atmosphere. The service is very friendly.Even the dog was immediately served with fresh water and dry food. Unfortunately we were only there as day tourists. In any case, the hotel makes a very well-kept impression.

We had ordered catering for a celebration with around 30 people from Maustmühle. The food was super tasty and arrived warm. We were very satisfied!

Very great short break in the guesthouse... breakfast sufficient and lots of choice.Room apartment was very nice and clean. Great view of the water.In the afternoon the service was also very good and sufficient when eating on the terrace in the garden.

Very nice location. Delicious food, seasonal and rustic. Beautiful view of the pond area and the Jänschwalde power plant.The service is super friendly and ready for a bit of fun.

We went there for dinner for the first time today. We only stayed in the very large outdoor area, which is beautiful. The restaurant is a little out of the way but beautifully located directly on the Peitzer Lakes (pond area). The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. When it comes to eating, emphasis is placed on regional products. Special requests and intolerances are also taken into account. There is plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant.

We used the hotel as a stop for our tour on the cucumber cycle path. A nice little hotel with dedicated staff. If the sound of a water mill bothers you, you should let this know when booking. Although it would be a shame, because the rooms right on the river are great. I couldn't give the entire 5 stars for the overall grade because the performance of the kitchen leaves something to be desired. Regardless of whether it was zander or pork medallions, everything was fried to death. Simply show the same enthusiasm that is shown in the accommodation in the kitchen.

👍 It's worth it, from every angle. Clean and well-kept piece of nature. The food was very good, the price was right. The lady in the kitchen was very nice and accommodating, she even took care of the well-being of my 2 dogs. The toilet was very clean and free of charge. We stayed at the Maustmühle for a long weekend. We received a very warm welcome and were given the “Mahlgaststube” suite instead of the double room we had booked and were completely thrilled. The apartment is huge, modernly furnished, very clean, cozy and warm... simply beautiful. For dinner we ordered asparagus and the fish pan and found everything very tasty. The breakfast with a great view of the lake was lovingly prepared and there was something for every taste. The staff are friendly and attentive. The area is a paradise for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Thank you for everything, we'll be happy to come back. LG Judith and Thomas Springborn from Berlin.

A VIEW OF BRIGHT in the gloomy season!If you are a fan of fine dining, you should stop here for lunch! At first glance you can see the attention to detail. Excellent and attentive staff complete the picture. The food, in my case deer goulash, was excellent. Kudos to the kitchen staff.An old rule says, look at the toilets and you'll know where you stand.EVERYTHING IS GREAT HERE!!!Conclusion: Absolutely top price-performance ratio and in a wonderful OASIS OF WELL-BEING.Thank you very much and keep it up...!

We rented the Ölmühle apartment with our dog from December 28th to January 1st, 2024 to spend a quiet New Year's Eve for two.The apartment was clean and very lovingly furnished and completely sufficient for 2 people.However, you have to book breakfast, but you can also do self-catering.The breakfast offering is sufficient and tasty.We also had dinner every evening, which was very varied.Our special requests were also taken into account, whether it was for the main course or dessert.The service, whether for breakfast or dinner, was very nice and accommodating.Every time we thought of our dog, who we were allowed to bring to the restaurant with fresh water and treats.Many thanks again to the entire staff, but especially to the nice gentleman who served us so kindly every evening.We wish everyone a happy new year.Vicinity:There's a lot you can do from here, whether it's the Branitzer Park, including the zoo in Cottbus, or the Rhododendron Park in Kromlau, to name just a few of the sights.You can also start a circular hike through the pond area directly from the Maustmühle.We can recommend this guesthouse and restaurant with a good heart and will definitely come back.

It's a nice restaurant in a good location.But I can't understand why you have to wait almost an hour (50 minutes) for a fully cooked dish - sauerbraten with red cabbage.
