Very nice farming family, helpful and friendly. The children had lots of opportunities to play and especially loved working in the stable. The apartment was clean and the ability to take chilled drinks out of the fridge in the house was very practical. Would love to come back

I used to go there with my parents almost every year at Easter. With Uli Finkel. I thought it was really great. I was allowed to drive a tractor and helped out in the stable. There was fresh milk in the morning. Tine put me on skis and ran around in the snow with me, pulling me. I felt very comfortable there as a teenager (around 12 at the time). Unfortunately I haven't managed to go there again yet. Will definitely be rescheduled. It wasn't far to the Austrian border either. Great location. I loved it. We (family with 2 children aged 3 and 1) had a very great time at the Finkelhof. The apartment has a good layout, is very well equipped and very clean!On the farm itself there are cows, cats and the donkey Paula. We were in the stable every evening and the cow pasture is right next to the farm. There is plenty of space for the children, bobby cars and other vehicles and play equipment are available.In front of the house there is the garden with seating at a beautiful wooden hut with a grill and plenty of space to run around.The host family around Tine is super nice and helpful. We were very well looked after, from the bread roll service to excursion tips etc.In just a few minutes you can reach the Imbergbahn, the Hochgrat or the Hündle (included in the Allgäu Walser Card that you get). Hündle and Imberg can be easily reached with a stroller, the gondolas are large and the stroller fits well. Hochgrat is a little more difficult with small children, even a stroller doesn't fit in the gondola, but it's still great to go up and at least enjoy the view.We felt really comfortable during the week and can definitely recommend the Finkelhof and the Gengend.

Class!We were there for 2 weeks during the summer holidays and would come back at any time! Children had a lot of fun helping out on the farm or using the pedal tractors to get feed for Paula!

We have been coming here for many, many years. Previously with our children and now just as a couple. Beautiful farm with cows and calves, cats and the donkey Paula. You feel at home with the Finkel Schwärtzler family, they are there to help and advise you. They give great tips on excursions and hikes. Children are very welcome here and are also allowed to go into the stable with the animals. The garden invites you to linger. We like to come back again and again 😄

Dear Finkel and Schwärzler family,Thank you very much for the wonderful days on your farm!!!If you like a holiday with friendly farmers and dairy cows, this is the right place for you. 2 holiday apartments and a guest room are available. The large holiday apartment has space for 5 to 6 people and the small one for 2 to 4. The guest room is designed for 2 people.We spent 13 days of family vacation at the Finkelhof in August 2019. We were warmly welcomed by the Finkler / Schwärzler family and immediately felt welcome and very comfortable. Seven of us came with 5 adults and 2 children and lived in the Staufen and Hündle apartments. Both apartments are fully equipped and very clean and well maintained.In many interesting conversations, we learned a lot about life on a farm today and got a lot of attractive tips for excursions.Whether big or small, you could help out in the stable. Our daughter found working in the stable so interesting that, even though she was on vacation, she set her alarm clock almost every day so that she could be in the stable in the morning and help out. She loved feeding the calves and petting and grooming the donkey Paula. She was also allowed to help with mucking out the stables, putting in hay and letting the cows out to pasture. A special highlight for our children was the ride on the quad with the hostess.There are many opportunities for excursions and activities in Oberstaufen and the surrounding area and in the evening you can take a little swim at the torrent at the end of the street.We liked it so much that we're coming back in October!Until then, wish you all the best and loveThe John family from Leipzig, with grandma from Brandenburg and the Rikowski family from Cologne
