Very nice location, quiet and not far from the city center, the Pushkin Park. Behind the youth hostel, I would love to come back and there are also very good cycle paths

Very nice youth hostel in a historic building. Price/performance definitely unbeatable. Very nice location.The youth hostel is located right next to a church, so if you don't like the ringing of bells, you shouldn't stay here.

There were three of us as a family staying in the small main house. The room was really nice and the beds were very comfortable. The showers and toilets are spread over two floors for M and W. That took some getting used to at first. A real highlight is the delicious breakfast and the very nice and helpful staff. We weren't creative enough to park for free. The location at the park with three playgrounds within a 5-minute radius is very nice. At the beginning everything may be a little different and takes some getting used to compared to the big youth hostels, but in the end we quickly got used to it and had a great time. The overnight stay is also very cheap in comparison.

I come here at least twice a year and am always impressed. A great room, friendly people who fulfilled special requests for me when I was a bit sick with a stomach and a cold several times.Everything is good at breakfast. But something more vegetarian (spread, yoghurt...) would be desirable.All in all wonderful. Many thanks to the team, especially Kerstin and René

Rather small house. The room was good for our stay. The breakfast was what we expected and completely ok. The location in the city is excellent, not far from the town hall.

We had a really great room as a family. The location couldn't be better. The staff is really very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very simple but OK. A bit of variety, like fruit quark, smacks or something like that would be nice. A nice lounge with a play area for children would be great.The playground in the park where the hostel is located is really great. We spent many hours there with our small children. Cottbus is also an unexpectedly beautiful city. The fact that we were able to check in before 12 p.m. was perfect for us and seems to be normal there.

The youth hostel is in a pretty idyllic location... in the immediate vicinity... in the wider area you have to like the city aesthetics of Cottbus and that is... quite difficult, to say the least. The parking situation if you do arrive by car is a bit difficult outside of the weekend and the city's law enforcement officers act quite quickly, accurately and sometimes in a way that is strange for tourists, issuing speeding tickets... well.

Unfortunately, arrival only at certain times. Difficult if you take public transport. If you're there three hours early, you're out of luck. The reception was short and sweet. Room on the 2nd floor, lots of stairs, unfriendly to the knees. Towels and bed linen are provided. Our room was large, but unfortunately very dusty. I dusted the shelves myself. There were things under the bed that didn't belong there. After the complaint it was a little better. Breakfast: small but nice. But: variety wouldn't be bad. We were there for a week and it was the same every day. Staff is friendly.
