We were 8 people and had booked 4 double rooms for 4 days (3 nights) with half board.A small, fine hotel away from any hustle and bustle. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. However, excursions are only possible by car.The rooms are a bit small and have sloping ceilings, which makes them seem even smaller. But they are very clean. The shower entrance in the bathroom is extremely high and the toilet is very low (no grab bar), not necessarily suitable for people with disabilities. I also missed a place to put the laundry/cosmetic bags.The food was great. There was nothing to complain about on our part. Only on one morning (October 5th, 2024) did the service leave something to be desired. It was only completely refilled shortly before the end of breakfast time. Otherwise the staff was very busy.One thing may need to be reconsidered. Drinks at the bar are only available until 10 p.m. We would have liked to end the day a little longer here. If you bring your own drinks, you are only allowed to do this in the rooms, which are quite narrow.All in all we were very satisfied.

We booked via an internet portal and unfortunately paid significantly more for the rooms than if we had booked directly - our mistake, but still unpleasant.The rooms are very small, but well laid out and well furnished overall. However, the beds are relatively hard and, at 1.40m, definitely too narrow for 2 people. The pillows are too hard, which causes headaches.The buffet for breakfast and evening is better canteen food. Some of the things are already caked on or dried out and from a culinary point of view they are rather poor. The selection of dishes with greasy crusty roast, pollack fillet or vegetarian spinach casserole (baked with cheese) also doesn't fit the price range. The dessert cake pieces are cut sooooo small that they dry out straight away.The staff is impersonal and polite, all in all tidy.The location is good and it's okay for 2-3 nights - nothing more.

We as a family went on vacation for three days in the hotel in September 2024. First of all, I have to say that the hotel grounds were very well maintained and clean and the staff were also very, very friendly and accommodating.Breakfast and dinner in the form of a buffet was ok. Unfortunately, I missed fresh fruit and vegetables. In the morning there was melon and in the evening cucumber and tomato. And that every day. A few fresh grapes, apples, bananas, kiwi and/or peppers, kohlrabi and the like are standard for me.We had a triple room for two adults and a child. The room was uncomfortably narrow and was actually only designed for two people. Completely different from a family room, which offers the opportunity to pass some time playing games when the weather is bad.We were really happy that we only had to go into the room to sleep.You only have time in the evening for wine and cocktails until 10 p.m. Then you are asked to go to the room, which was not possible in our case.The hotel complex offers a swimming pool, a playground and an outdoor swing. A small games room at the dining area in the hotel itself.Dogs were also welcome in the hotel complex, which I actually welcome.Unfortunately, the combination of children and dogs was a bit difficult. Many four-legged friends were not trained and barked at the playing children and/or jumped towards the situation.The proportion of seniors/pensioners was very high and it was clear that children were not welcome.My conclusion:As a family we would no longer vacation in the hotel. Price/performance was not ok.Addendum for the owner:The three-bed room was recommended to us by your employees over the phone.I can only answer the question...why?The serious differences were noticed on site.My review is honest and factual.The room was too small for a family. Significantly too small.The food was ok...but nothing more. There was a lack of fruit and vegetables. Autumn has a lot to offer when it comes to vegetables.

The Ferien Hotel Spreewald is a relatively small hotel that attaches great importance to the well-being of its guests. Ideally located on the outskirts of Limberg for bike tours in the Spreewald. The pool at the back and the well-kept exterior with roses of the old variety that are still fragrant complete the appearance.

Nice little hotel, located away from the main road.Very comfortable, as there aren't too many rooms. The rooms in general are modernly furnished with everything you need.I can really recommend the hotel, especially for families with children. Super large outdoor area with pool, playground with sandpit and sand toys, and also a large children's play area in the restaurant so that parents can drink a glass of wine in peace. Food from the buffet is also good, there is a lot of choice and there is always something for children.I can only recommend it.

Nice little hotel with really nice service. Tried a lot. It is a bit out of the way, but it is in a quiet location and many places such as Burg (Spreewald) or Cottbus can be reached in a few minutes by car. The food was plentiful. We had a nice room on the ground floor, which was clean.

The location on the outskirts of town and with a view of fields and forest was very nice.The double room we had was unfortunately very cramped. Choice of food for half board is okay. There was a little bit of everything and no one had to leave hungry. Staff was friendly and guest-oriented. We liked it very much.Small note: Something ran across the roof at night (possibly a raccoon?) and made some scary noises 🫣

The hotel is somewhat rural.Anyone looking for peace and quiet will definitely find it there.For me it was a plus point that it is rather a small hotel.I can highly recommend it.All kinds of attractions nearby.Staff super friendly.

A nice hotel. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are small but cozy. The food is very good and plentiful. The only negative thing is that there aren't enough shelves in the bathroom. I can only recommend the hotel to everyone.P.S. My wife had two massages and was very satisfied.

We were there when the outside temperature was 34 degrees and was given a small room on the second floor, i.e. with a sloping ceiling. It was not possible to stay here during the day as it was incredibly warm in the room. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. In the evening we had the choice of sitting in the sweltering room or opening the window and letting the mosquitoes in. Outside the service was over at 10 p.m. and the (really nice) staff had a well-deserved end of work.The room was extremely small, we could only use a chair as a place to sit because the sloping ceiling didn't allow us to sit. You can only get into bed on one side in a bent position. There would be no room for a small coffee machine, kettle, let alone a minibar...Breakfast and dinner were more like canteen food.The location of the hotel is good, you can quickly get to the actual Spreewald and the pool was really nice in the summer temperatures.We came here with a group and only spent two nights here. This house is great for that. We don't want to spend a vacation here.

We booked a Travdo offer for 2 nights with F/HP+ and did very well with it (...like in other Travdo hotels!).A cozy, cozy hotel. Clean rooms and rich and good food.There is even a mini pool.Even if you need a car, or at least a bicycle, to explore the Spreewald from here, this hotel is recommended.

We only stayed 1 night but it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are okay, clean, although the bathroom needs updating. Our bed and mattress were comfortable. The hotel has a small swimming pool and a children's playground and a ping-pong table. The breakfast was quite basic, but tasty and the selection of dishes was ok. Very helpful and engaged staff. We recommend it for a short stay as a base for visiting the beautiful Spreewald.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back from holiday. Friendly welcome and excellent food.We slept in the family room with 2 adults and 3 children. A very spacious room on the second floor.Unfortunately it was outdated there, very hot and there was no air conditioning, but it was clean. Our bed was broken (slatted base collapsed) and the mattresses were thin. Shame!
