The perfect place for anyone who wants to take a few days break from hectic and stressful everyday life!The Gähwindehof is located in the middle of nature, but the next place with everything you need is still within sight. We were guests here in August and many excursion destinations can be reached shortly.The chalet is very well maintained, high quality, tastefully and modernly furnished, in perfect combination with rustic elements - there is a lot of attention to detail.We received a very warm welcome and felt very comfortable here with our little daughter. We were able to get to know the Mayr family as extremely nice and hard-working hosts, so we didn't miss anything.A delicious, varied and, above all, lovingly prepared breakfast sweetened every morning.We are already looking forward to the next break at the Gähwindehof!

Get out of everyday life and into nature - the Gähwindehof is a great destination for a relaxing family holiday in the Allgäu foothills. The chalet is newly built, the furnishings are of very high quality, with real wood and attention to detail. The location on the mountain means you have peace and quiet throughout and can wonderfully see nature, crickets, frogs, goats, horses and the like. The view from the window - over the swimming pond and Oberstaufen up to the mountains - could, if the weather is nice, be put on a postcard with greetings from the Allgäu: a dream for all mountain lovers.Particularly noteworthy is the personal service provided by Bettina and her family. Every morning there was a delicious and healthy breakfast with changing products from the region. During the day we, especially the children, were allowed to take part in everyday life on the farm, observe riding training, drive a tractor and learn new things about horses and sustainable agriculture. In our opinion, the fact that the family shares their passion with visitors sets the Gähwindehof apart from many more “anonymous” accommodations. We'd love to come back!

Here, luxury is offered in combination with a harmonious sustainability concept: from agricultural use, to the swimming pond, to the delicious breakfast made from high-quality ingredients - the breakfast window is particularly noteworthy, a great idea and well implemented. The owners and operators live right next door, put their heart and soul into it and always have an insider tip about the region. The Mountain Ranch Resort is an absolute recommendation. We rented a chalet with 4 adults and 3 children and were thrilled by the great accommodation and the warm treatment of the operators - vacation as you wish.

A wonderfully beautiful farm to enjoy, relax and experience!Thank you for the wonderful time with you at the Gähwindehof - a paradise for people and animals!We were there with our poodle lady, who was welcomed just as warmly as we were. The chalet is tastefully furnished in a modern Bavarian style and is well equipped; we didn't miss anything. The breakfast with the many regional products was also a dream and left nothing to be desired!Whether petting goats or watching horses, taking the nearest meadow path to the most beautiful viewpoint with a bench, exploring the nearby forest or simply sitting comfortably in the sun with a coffee and enjoying the view over the pastures - there is something for everyone on the farm.Unfortunately, at the beginning of April it was still too cold to swim in our own natural swimming pond, but we were very impressed by our own sauna with a view, went on beautiful hikes and were shown many different tours by our hosts. Thank you for that too!It was really a wonderful time with you and we would love to come back!

A place of relaxation not only for horse lovers! The Gähwindehof impressed us with its fantastic location and the very lovingly and modernly designed lodges. The town of Oberstaufen is just a walk away and yet the farm is in a perfect secluded location.For holidaymakers who are looking for relaxation and peace, it's just the thing. What is very important for us is that we were able to leave the car parked for the entire holiday - hikes are possible right from the front door. We didn't miss a relaxing afternoon at the natural swimming pond either :)Thank you for very relaxing days! Gladly again!!

I spent a long weekend at the Gähwindehof with my husband, what can I say, it was perfect!Incredibly nice hosts, fantastic views, absolute peace.Super tasty, extensive breakfast with regional products.The swimming pond invites you to swim.The chalet was beautiful,very large, super equipped and sparkling clean.All in all, nothing is left to be desired.We are really looking forward to our next holiday at the Gähwindehof.

A dream for nature and animal lovers!The rooms are furnished in a modern Allgäu style with great attention to detail. The mix of rustic elements and contemporary comfort creates a cozy atmosphere in which you feel right at home.The picturesque location directly on the mountain with a view of nature is also particularly noteworthy. In addition to many opportunities for hiking, a natural pond also invites you to swim.The hosts were very warm and helpful! Breathtaking mountain views, a perfect secluded location and luxury characterize this resort.What impressed me during my stay in June, apart from the hospitality, was the wide range of leisure activities in the immediate area. From summer tobogganing, hiking, golfing and horse riding, there is something for everyone here. If you want to take it a little quieter, the natural pool with a view of the mountain panorama or the sauna invite you to relax.The Gähwindehof is an absolute recommendation and always worth a trip. A paradise for horses and riders.Arrive and feel comfortable, we felt comfortable from the first moment and the horses were immediately “at home”.So it was 4 great days that we were able to spend with you and hopefully we will be able to enjoy them again soon.

A ranch with a breathtakingly beautiful Alpine backdrop, spacious, very stylishly furnished apartments, breakfast with specially prepared ingredients and peace and quiet - plus fantastic weather... That's all you really need to get close to paradise and get down to it quickly. Very happy again...

Paradise is not just now, but definitely as a guest at the Gähwindehof. The first impression is the magnificent Allgäu panorama, the view of the inviting swimming pond and the warm welcome from the hosts. The chalet we live in is cozy and furnished to the highest standard. The horse stable and the large riding hall offer everything for horse lovers. The Gähwindehof is the ideal starting point for hikes, but also as a starting point for the Allgäu ski areas. Your physical well-being is taken care of right from the start of the day with a breakfast arrangement. We are already looking forward to our next holiday at the Gähwindehof and would like to thank the lovely hosts, the Mayr family.

Luxury chalets in the Allgäu in a class of its own. Definitely 5 stars from us! The resort is in a rare secluded location in the middle of the beautiful Oberallgäu meadows and forests. On the one hand, original and cozy, on the other hand, top comfort with wellness, privacy and great service. Of course, this has its price - but every euro is well invested in the perfect luxury vacation!Thank you very much, Bettina and Robert - we will be back soon!
