This was one of the best last-minute decisions: we decided at the last minute to spend the night in Lauwersoog after our expedition to Rottumeroog. The accommodation already has very good reviews and that turned out to be right. Very nice staff, nice room, clean, wonderfully quiet and a good bed! Oh yes, the breakfast was good too.And then also a view of the most beautiful Wadden Island Schier.So those five stars are completely justified.

Destination of our 14th stage of the “Ronde van Nederland” cycle tour. We booked a few days in advance and stayed here for two nights. A very nice place to stay, everything new. Friendly staff who welcomed us. We also had a good breakfast, which was without a buffet and was brought to the table. It was great put together for us. We were able to store the bikes in a locked room, very good. Access here only with room key.Due to the upcoming long 15th stage by bike, we wanted to have an early breakfast on the second day. We were able to do that in the restaurant with the employees. That was very accommodating and bought us some time.

Well located hotel at the fishing port.Nice modern room. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and beautifully served.It is very easy that you can also eat in the hotel restaurant. The food is delicious and plentiful and the service is super friendly.

Nicely locatedNice and friendly welcome.Good nice room.The bathroom is great with a walk-in shower.No elevator but we got a room on the ground floor.Good and safe bicycle shed with charging points for electric bicycles.Location near the harbor and ferry to Schiermonnikoog.At the reception you can take coffee/tea on request to take to your room.Super breakfast but not buffet style.Plenty of choice.But asking if we would like an egg with bacon would have been better.Now that was automatic.It was delicious, but for me it wasn't necessary every morning.Restaurette was not our thing.First order food separately and wait until you could pick up what you ordered.Two cash registersOne for food and the other for drinks/desserts.Everything else was fine.Despite the work in the area and the bad weather, everything went well.Nice hotel, recommended.We stayed there for three nights.

Very nice accommodation. Very surprising. We had room 9 with a beautiful view all around. Very clean, nice room, soundproof and very friendly owner. We were able to park our motorcycle safely behind the hotel.Camera surveillance available. Everything was well organised. Very good breakfast for little money. Definitely worth staying there.
