Mini campsite in a wonderfully quiet rural area with friendly, very hospitable owners. Spotless, good sanitary facilities, also with good hot water for washing dishes. Fortunately, there is also normal toilet paper in the toilets. 👍👍

Spent a night at the campsite. Slept wonderfully. The welcome was very warm, the facilities were of great quality, and then there were the views over the Frisian countryside. I will come back when the opportunity arises.

We pitched our tent at this new campsite. We were received so warmly by the family that we felt like we were back 100 years. The location was great, what a view! A rising or setting sun over the fields. The starry sky, fantastic. The sanitary facilities get a 10. Nicely made and really clean.If you wanted you could even order breakfast for a reasonable price.These people really enjoy this campsite and will do everything to make you comfortable.Highly recommended, especially for those seeking peace and quiet!

Wonderfully received by the lady of the house. What a nice place. We happened to drop by on a hot day for an ice cream. We were just as welcome as camping guests. Thank you for your warm welcome and good luck with your beautiful campsite!!!!

Very quiet and relaxing campsite. We really enjoyed our stay there. The hostess and her family are very nice and helpful. There is a breakfast service (although we didn't use this - so I can't give any information about it). You won't get very far here with German, but you can communicate easily with English or Dutch.If you want a beach holiday you have to drive about 20 minutes to a lake. The sea (we drove to Julianadorp) could be reached in just under 1 1/2 hours.Perfect for nature lovers and people who want a quiet stay. If you don't like creepy crawlies, it's better to stay in a hotel (spiders, flies, mosquitoes).We had a great stay for little money and we would come back 😃

Oh what a nice place this is. Farmer's chalet Dirk is really nice. From a lovely bed to nice chairs and a beautiful view.Nice clean sanitary facilities.And then a delicious breakfast, what more could you want?Nice villages in the area within cycling distance.

Minicamping de Grutte Earen is a wonderful campsite with clean toilets, a super nice Frisian couple, showers with enough hooks, peace and quiet and the fresh Frisian air. The campsite is located in a beautiful area with extensive meadows and in the middle of beautiful nature reserves, but also the city of Groningen, all within cycling distance. The highlight in the area is the Lauwersmeer. There are also disadvantages: Some poor WiFi and showers with a high entry and exit

Super nice campsite! Welcoming reception, sanitary facilities new, clean and fresh. Wide view over the fields. Those frogs make a bit of noise, but otherwise it is wonderfully quiet.

Newly started mini campsite, located nicely out in the countryside with cows that walk and graze all the way up to the site, calm and quiet, we were completely alone on the site, probably because it was a weekday outside high season. Toilet and bath building clean and inviting. The hosts very accommodating and friendly, we had ordered breakfast and it was just nice to receive it at 9.00 in a nice basket with fresh coffee, warm bread and sundries. Treats.

What an exceptionally beautiful new campsite! Thank you very much! Everything is well maintained and super thought out. The hosts are very helpful and you can buy a delicious breakfast there, as well as ice cream and drinks. We are already looking forward to coming back!
