We come from Dortmund and enjoyed a little short vacation in Bergen aan Zee a week ago. Our room number 220 was nice and big for Dutch standards. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking space behind the hotel is very good. The breakfast was okay for a 3 star hotel. We would be happy to come back. LG. Hans Steer

A bit outdated hotel that is only gradually being renovated, but with good service. Unfortunately we got an old room, the balcony door didn't close at all. The handle is loose just like the handle on the room door.The hotel is located right on the beach, but that's exactly the problem. We had paid for a parking space for six days, but that doesn't mean that the parking lot is at the hotel. When the weather is nice, everything is parked up and you have to park very far away if you can find a parking space at all.Smoking is prohibited on the balcony and in the house itself; smoking is only allowed on the terrace or on the street.Breakfast was good, although there was always the same thing.The service people are very friendly and you can also reserve a table in the morning.

We spent the last weekend at the Hotel Meyer with many of our wedding guests and I don't normally write reviews. But the service and help I received from the hotel employees made me so happy that I would like to share it. Wedding parties can be complicated and, especially when it comes to bookings, there can be changes or mix-ups or something similar, as was the case with us. But Patrick and everyone else we interacted with were just great. They always helped me straight away, responded to all my emails straight away and were super friendly and helpful, and implemented all the changes effortlessly and actively. Everyone was always trying to make our stay as pleasant and perfect as possible and always had new ideas and suggestions on how this could work. In the end, we and our guests not only had a great stay at the Hotel Meyer, but also a delicious meal in the hotel's own restaurant and a great time with our guests at the beautiful hotel bar. Thank you for everything!

We had room 11, the room was nice but the view was less, we looked at an old barn.What we found strange was at the morning breakfast, before we could have breakfast the man asked us if we wanted to speak English, we had to provide the room number in English, which is not that bad but strange if you take a hotel in the Netherlands.Everything else was good.

A beautiful and well-maintained hotel in a prime location. The breakfast is very rich and the dairy products in particular are very fresh and tasty.Our room was modernized and large enough for two people with a child.Everything was very clean and you can reach the great sandy beach and the town's restaurants in three minutes. The dinner at the hotel is very tasty.The staff is mostly very friendly.We'd love to come back.

Good and extensive breakfast, excellent room, but very noisy. At least that applied to room 022 where I could hear the neighbors talking clearly. Tip for the reception: take what a guest says about this seriously (instead of waving it away) and offer earplugs.And a tip for future guests: if you want to be able to open a window at night, do not choose a room on the ground floor, sea/street side. In my room only the sliding door could open. I didn't dare do that so directly on the street.

We were there for the 10th time, now in February. As always we felt very welcome. Such nice employees. Everything is perfect for each other. Atmospheric hotel. The room, breakfast, dinner and of course the place, everything was very nice. You can walk straight to the beach. We cannot mention any negatives.
