Room was small but neat. Everything you need is available. Coffee, tea, shower, hairdryer, safe. Nice beds.Tall people have to stoop at the entrance to the bathroom and the bed is, as usual, too short.Friendly welcome.Breakfast at adjacent restaurant was buffet. All very tasty. You can walk straight onto the beach and into the dunes.Price-quality ratio excellent

Had expected hotel, no room in one of the outbuildings. Extremely warm room, charger plugged in, plugs pop out. Service from another hotel was great. Not a place I would book again after previous good experiences in another hotel.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. You could get anything you wanted from a boiled egg to pancakes. Completely self-service. Friendly & helpful staff. We didn't stay at the hotel and paid for breakfast on the way out. Everything was arranged down to the last detail. The interior looks cozy and well cared for. Definitely come back again!

September 2024We came across this hotel via the weekend away website. From three euros per person per night. If you actually book, you will spend 5 times as much, too bad...Bathroom was small and basic. No refrigerator or safe in the room.Very warm room. No air conditioning. Small balcony with less beautiful view.Check-in from 3 p.mDon't be alarmed if you want to check in upon arrival and find that no one is there. There is an information letter stating that you can pick up the "key" to the room at Hotel Zuiderduin. It is a pity that such information is not provided when booking/reserving.The hotel will send you a letter for your car so you can park anywhere in the village for a fixed amount.Check out at 10am. Parking is allowed until 12 noonThe hotel is really close to the beach entrance. Ideal! Shops, supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a lot of height difference in the hotel near the rooms. Not practical for the disabled. The breakfast buffet is in the adjacent restaurant. Quality is good.

Mediocre hotel, price and quality are inadequate. On the expensive side for what you get.||Location of the hotel is fantastic, even if you have difficulty walking.

What a wonderful hotel! Right on the coast, you cross the road and walk onto the beach entrance. Very friendly staff, super clean room. We had a budget room, there was nothing else available at the time of booking, but it was really great. The adjacent restaurant JOOI, where breakfast was provided, was also great. Nice decor, terrace, good staff and delicious food.We will definitely come back and take a room with a balcony!

We had a room with a balcony in the annex building. Pleasant reception. Don't expect luxury but what do you want for that price. Quite dated and basic hotel but for us it was fine! Nice 'living room' + bar (self-service) at the bottom of the hotel. Breakfast was great! Excellent location: right on the sea and close to the center of Egmond aan Zee, which is a nice seaside resort. Minuses: in high season/nice weather it can be difficult to park your car, the bed was very softly sprung, there was no refrigerator in the room, perhaps less suitable for people with mobility problems (no elevator). In short: worth repeating!
