Room was nice and clean, for the price definitely can’t complain. Location is not the best, but no problem getting around using trams as the station is located reasonably close. Would definitely recommend staying.

The Fogo is the perfect location for a stay outside of the center of Amsterdam. Staff are friendly especially Geraldine . It’s also easy to walk to reach public transportation through which you can go where you want . The hotel room was great for the price and the bed was extremely comfortable. I fell asleep through the night the minute my head hit the pillow! Definitely I will stay here if I found myself in Amsterdam again.Dr. YagoubSudan 🇸🇩

A very nice positive surprise!Yes, the hotel is relatively far away, but I'm glad I still decided to stay at this hotel! It might look a bit questionable, but very pleasant from the inside.The rooms were of an excellent standard and even a good size. A very big plus was also the daily room cleaning, the level of which was commendable. The hotel staff was also very pleasant: they spoke English well and were very helpful; the laundry service offered by the hotel was also a really good addition.The price-quality ratio is very good. Although the location is the only small minus, it is possible to get to the center from the hotel conveniently with a tram, which runs almost next to the hotel. One small annoyance was that there are no grocery stores near the hotel, the nearest one is more than a 20-minute walk away. But anyway, right next to the hotel there is a McDonald's where you can get something to eat almost 24 hours a day :)I can strongly recommend this hotel!

All the staff are very friendly and available to help you, the room is very clean, only the bed mattress is a little hard for my taste, but nothing extreme, so the outcome of the stay is very positive.Very good that you can rent bicycles directly at the hotel👍The tram station is very close so very good. In 15 minutes you can arrive in the center of Amsterdam 👍

The advantages end at affordable prices. Service, it depends on who is at the reception, but right at the entrance we were met by ladies who were more interested in their private conversation than in helping us... And the next thing was that the hotel, despite paying via booking, wanted to charge the fee from my account a second time... Quite a lot an oversight I guess. Good thing I didn't have enough money because I don't know how long I would have to wait for the refund. Additionally, when I was sleeping, I woke up with the door to the room open, I guess the staff likes to leave other people's privacy for public use. Overall, a strong 2 stars because although it was clean...

Good hotel, the location would not be bad given that it is located near a tram stop, the only negative note to reach the hotel is that you have to take an absurd tour, crossing straight in front of the hotel would be enough while instead there is a road and a ditch so from the tram stop you have to take a very long walk when the hotel is in front

Hotel away from the city, but close to Schiphol. Room not very big, but quiet. Pleasant staff, rooms clean. Large parking lot (costs extra), everything is great even for wheelchair users.

Pros and cons to this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.The rooms are clean but little small, my window did not open. The bathroom is very very small. There was no phone in the room so I had to go down to the desk to ask questions and extend my stay. They have the basics only. The annoying thing was to check in early by a few hours it was 30 Euro and to extend my checkout it was another 30 Euro (which I did not know until I arrived). With that and the property taxes I might as well of paid an extra $100+ euro for a nicer hotelThe location is close to the airport, there is a McDonalds and Dim sum restaurant next door. There is not much else available walking distance.

Avoid staying at this hotel:1. The location is far from major attractions.2. The rooms are extremely small, leaving no space to open luggage comfortably.3. The bathroom is cramped, making it difficult to move, especially in the shower.4. The room cleanliness is poor, with smelly cushions.5. The bed is not a standard queen size and feels quite small.6. Clean, comfortable and convenient.Great price for a such a beautiful hotel. Comfortable room and not noisy at all which was my initial concern being that it is so conveniently located close to the airport. I arrived around 3am on a layover and was immediately accommodated. Excellent choice would stay again.

Was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. It was a last minute booking due to flight cancellation as they are about 10 minutes away from the airport. We arrived close to midnight. The staff on reception were very friendly and accommodating. They organised a phone charger for me to use, and toothbrush /toothpaste which was most appreciated. The rooms were clean and spacious. Shower was clean and water was hot. Window opened okay and was able to get fresh air. Bed was comfy and slept fine. Early wake up with taxi arranged by the front desk to get us back to the airport. Very happy with the service and thanks to the two gents at reception.
