There are no lifts in the buildingStaff are unhelpful, and you have to struggle with your stuff all the way up the very steep stairs. My partner is recovering from cancer he shouldn't be lifting any big suits cases or bags. All night, all you hear are doors being slammed and loud music from the nightclub downstairs. The cleaners are rude and really loud in the morning, talking really loud in the hallway outside your room, having a good old gossip at 8 something in the morning. Cleaners don't clean your room when you're out. You have to get your own towels. There are 4 floors, and the higher you go upstairs, the steeper and more unsafe the stairs get. The top floor is an attic they made into 3 or 4 bedrooms it should have been one big room as the room we had was ridiculously small. we couldn't swing a cat in there. The bed was shoved in a tiny pokey corner it was horrible. The room we had on top floor there was no windows in there so I never slept a wink as I felt stiffled in there I felt more like a prison than a hotel, staying in that pokey little space upstairs gave me anxiety. The cocktail bar closes early, and the bar staff are not helpful either. All they say is go to the bar next door. The food next door is rubbish and expensive. But the upstairs bar is nice with a great selection of drinks, but they have the heating on high, so you're sitting there dehydrated.Would I recommend here: Not a chance in hell !Would I stay here again: Never Ever AgainIf you value your knees and ankles or even have a bad back, like to sleep in, like to have a clean room, helpful staff, a late night cocktail then this awful hotel/ prison is not the one for you.

We stayed in the art room and we loved it! The LED lighting around the bed, the LED bath, the projector... really great! It's a shame that there is barely room for luggage in the room and the stairs are quite narrow and steep. But that was the only downside. Also ideal in terms of location, you can do everything on foot.

Enjoyed our stay at this really unique hotel, we loved the champagne sweet especially for its balcony view of the canal. We spent 1 night in just enjoying the scene with a bottle of wine. This is right in the heart of Amsterdam so everything we wanted to do was typically only a 10 minute walk away. Was surprised we barely heard the club music being right next door, had no issues with noise at all when trying to sleep.

We recently stayed at SUPPER Hotel for 3 nights. We had the Intimate Suite, room 404. It was an amazing room and we made sure we really enjoyed it. It’s located on the top floor of the hotel. There was no issue with noise for us and the enclosed bed area was very quiet. The bed itself was two singles placed together. They sank towards the middle so we were always on top of each other. A new mattress would solve this issue.I wasn’t aware there were no elevators when making our booking. While I understand the age and size of the buildings don’t allow for elevators it was an oversight on my behalf. Lugging up a large suitcase of 32kg up 4 flights of very narrow and small steps at 11:30pm at night was not fun.We had breakfast each day at the hotel and it was plenty of food for the two of us. It’s served to you by the staff in the bar/check in area. The mini bar was included in the price but not replenished during our stay. Coffee is served on request, free, all day in the bar.The front desk/bar staff were very polite and friendly and spoke English well. The housekeeping was less then expected. Towels were replaced and bed made but no attempt to replace coffee pods/sugar or was the dirty cup. Each day we were there our room was not tended to until after 4pm. This is too late. The light switch for the shower/toilet area was missing so it was very dark in there after the sun went down and no light was coming in the skylight. The location was great for us. Almost all city sights are within walking distance and if you need to go further the tram is just out the front.I would stay here again but not with the amount of luggage we had. Thanks for a great stay.

Location is great! Price is way too high. The hotel hallway/stairs and room were not clean. The hotel does not smell nice especially on the stairs. Found socks in the drawer stains on the curtains, dust in every corner and cabinet. It is a mess.

The description is absolutely misleading. It is first and foremost a hotel exclusively for adults: the organization and style of the rooms, the coming and going of guests at all hours and without any respect for others amply testifies to this. Our room, described as a suite with private bathroom, had, in addition to an external sink, a separate toilet and shower, both without electric light, with a transparent roof, and glass walls, only partially darkened, which did not guarantee privacy of any kind nor isolating in any way. Only the double bed, placed in the final part of the room and closed by a glass door, had light (in addition to the sink mirror), while the rest of the room (narrow and long) was totally dark (we used cell phone flashlights). The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. For the sake of honesty: the location is excellent, the Wi-Fi is good and the minibar is available to guests free of charge (at least that!). Never again.
