Self check in and out through machine ( enter the code that they will send it to you and follow instructions then will get your room number and password)The room size not bad just enough for two persons but a little narrow in sides especially the side used for bathroomThere is luggage storage area in main area but in hall area without lock,The wifi network very badBecause no reception the machine very restrict with check in and out time!I mean the check out 11 am if you late only one minute 11:01am your code for the room will be locked even if your belongings still inside so be careful with the time otherwise you will take long time to find employees to help you

Lovely stay right on the canal. We rented a boat at the hotel itself. Compact but comfortable rooms. Very clean.

Room small. Good bed and clean. Only the fast WiFi connection was not found. I think no WiFi for the entire stay is a downside. …

The hotel is close to the bus station and not far from the center of Giethoorn centrum on foot. The transportation is very convenient. This is an unmanned hotel. Check-in and check-out are completely self-service. Basic supplies such as towels, shampoo and tea bags can also be obtained in the lobby.Visitors only need to enter their name or registration number to obtain their room number and door lock password. The room is small and chic, clean and comfortable. In addition, the hotel does not have an elevator, so it may be difficult if you live on the second floor and have large luggage. The toilet and bathroom are clean and hygienic, but a bit small. Water will flow out from the crack of the door after taking a shower. The water pressure of the shower head is quite weak. It takes a while to wash the whole body. I hope it can be improved in the future. In addition, there is no air conditioning in the room, but Giethoorn is not too hot even in summer, and it is as cool as water at night. If you feel uncomfortable, just open the window.

We had the pleasure of living in a large room on the ground floor with a small terrace right on the canal. The beds and mattresses were very comfortable, so we slept well. We really liked the modern furnishings and the spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room was always in immaculate condition as the towels were changed daily and the cleanliness was exemplary. The WiFi was free and worked perfectly. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was excellent: various coffee specialties, a selection of fresh rolls and breads, cold cuts, cheese, salmon, fresh vegetables, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and much more - simply perfect for a successful start to the day.The tourist information center and a supermarket were in the immediate vicinity. The excursion boats were located directly in front of the hotel on the canal, so we could start the beautiful boat tours directly from here. The free parking lot directly behind the hotel was particularly practical, where we could easily park our car. All in all, we had a wonderful time at the Hotel De Pergola and can recommend it without reservation.......

The location of the hotel is great. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy so we had two very restless nights there. We could hear every single word, sound from the next room/toilet. The rooms are quite small and there was not enough space/floor space in the bathroom. A towel rack would be nice. The staff at breakfast were friendly, but couldn't give us any information about bike rental.

The location of the hotel is very good, 1 minute from the parking lot and 1 minute from the boat rental place. The disappointment only came at night because room 102 is on the ground floor and in the hallway next to the room there is a refrigerator that turns on and off and there is noise at night. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious

If you want to stay overnight in Giethoorn, you hardly have a choice. So the eight of us booked this hotel again. The self-check-in is difficult. The rooms are still rather small and cramped. OK for 1 night. …

Free WIFI, but the speed is too slow, I hope it can be improved. It is very close to the canal. Just turn right when you go out. It is suitable for renting a boat and taking a walk.It is recommended to choose a room facing the canal to enjoy the sunset and the beautiful view of the canal.Very close to the supermarket, shopping is also very convenient.
