We had a very nice stay. The staff is super kind and gave us (me and my mother) a great experience. We had a suite and it was beautiful! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was large!!! It even had a big bath. The hotel had a bike rental, which we used and it was super nice to get to know the city. Will definitely be coming back, thank you ❤️

We came here twice. The first time was 16-18 May and 28-30 October. The hotel is well designed and fabulously decorated with nice landscape. The location and surrounding district is a plus. Many thanks given to Kevin from Housekeeping Department for his usual help.

My family and I (husband and 2 small children 4 and 1 years old) traveling with a short layover in Amsterdam a few days ago and unfortunately missed our connecting flight due to weather delays. After staying at the airport for an additional 5 hours in the hopes of getting on the next flight, we were told that we had to book a hotel and come back the following day.The kids were crying, the airport was chaos due to the amount of delays and cancellations and I booked the first hotel I found on my Marriott app.I was so concentrated on finding a solution for the night and informing everyone that we wouldn't be home as planned that I forgot to put in the number of people for the room (we travel a lot and this is the first time it has happened).Anyways, we get to the hotel and clerk looks at us and says "You only booked 1 room, but you are 4 people. That is not allowed here. We only allow 3 occupants per room, due the fire hazard. It is a European Union rule".We have just travelled all over the place and never experienced this, so while it might be a rule in Amsterdam, it is certainly not a general EU rule. How would families with more than one child be able to travel then?He looks at the kids and then follows up to by saying that they sometimes allow for 4 people when there are small children involved, so he will talk to his supervisor. He comes back 2 min laters saying that because we didn't disclose the kids in the booking we have to pay for another room. No exemptions can be made.At this point we are all exhausted and I just pay for the extra room and move on with my day, but for a hotel to not recognize an honest mistake by an exhausted family is beyond my imagination. I can understand if we tried to smuggle the kids in, if we were a party of 4 adults coming to town to party or whatnot, but we weren't.And then trying to tell me that this is rule all over EU and we cannot book a hotel anywhere for 4 people is just outright a lie.Anyways, the room was great (among the best we have seen), the restaurant below mediocre and the service terrible (both at the reception and the restaurant).Follow up after response from the hotel: Thank you for responding. After receiving a response that didn't really address the issue of them lying and not addressing that fact that sometimes they allow it but not in this case, I have changed my review from 2 to 1 stars.Rules are rules and I respect that, but lying and not addressing the issues isn't OK. We will certainly not return and also not recommend it to anyone else.

We stayed here last week for our honeymoon, and the staff truly went above and beyond. I had requested a room with the 1928 wallpaper, as I knew my wife would love it. Not only did they ensure that we got what I had requested, they also upgraded our room! When we arrived at the hotel, the young man at reception was so friendly and very helpful. Our room was gorgeous and clean; with balloons, dessert and a card on display upon arrival. This was such a heartwarming touch which was beyond appreciated by both myself and my wife. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable and special, we will certainly be back in the near future!

Different from the accommodation in urban hotels, you can hear the sound of ducks frolicking in the morning. From the room, you can see a lake scenery with a panoramic view. Although the service staff are not as young and energetic as those in previous Marriott systems, they are There are still basic greetings and greetings. Among them, the grandpa who is responsible for collecting mail and packages at the entrance has a more positive attitude towards handling our packages. This is admirable. I will stay again if I have the opportunity. Although the room is not big, the bed is comfortable It's quite comfortable. Although the water in the shower is a bit hot and cold and the apples on the breakfast bar are stale, these small shortcomings can be covered up by its special accommodation environment and convenience.

Great for those who want to be out of the craziness of the inner circles. A bit of a walk to the metro but the trams are only a few blocks away.

Location is a bit out of the city center but right on the canal. Canal view rooms have a good view of all the passing boats. Restaurant also has an outdoor deck area by the canal. Rooms are clean but a bit dated. WiFi was quite slow. Good choice if you don't need to be in the middle of Amsterdam, 10 min walk and 15 min tram into the city

This is a good hotel which you recognize already while arriving to the reception. Great service there and especially from Jackie the front desk associate. Hotel is clean and friendly organized. Little far from the city centre but close to the airport or RAI.
