Good hotel with the tram station only 10 minutes max from the hotel. The receptionist and the hotel manager was very polite and kind. The room was clean and it wasn’t to much noise from the road outside. I booked a comfort room with 2 90cm beds but the room had a king size bed! Really appreciate it! Would recommend the hotel!

Had a great stay in the southwest bastion. Neda helped me well, even though Bastion does not offer room service. She helped me after all!Furthermore, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is also delicious. I will definitely come back again!

I don't usually put bad reviews, but in this case I think they went too far. I stayed for 3 days, for which I paid 520 euros and my surprise was that when I went up to the room the heating was broken, I went down to the reception to tell it and her answer was that she already knows and that she can't do anything, she I explain that I am going with a baby, that I need them to do something and she keeps saying that she can't do anything and that she understands, that's what... what bothers me above all is that when we went to the hotel reception she didn't tell us at all nothing, we left our suitcases and went for a walk, when we returned it was already night and that's when we realized, if they had told us at a reasonable time, I could have looked for another hotel, but I started looking at 9 The night in a hotel with a baby and suitcases was not an option. This is the serious thing, now we are getting picky, the bathroom ceiling is full of mold, you can't wash your face properly because there is a shelf and the entire floor gets waterlogged and the mattresses are terrible.

The beds are fine. Nice large TV on which you can also use casting and streaming. The bathroom is a bit small and the toilet is extremely low. Furthermore, all doors close quite loudly and you can hear that. The highway is next to the hotel, which can also be heard sometimes. Didn't try food. Great place for ADE though.

SCAM in Amsterdam Bastion Hotel !!!I came to this hotel in a business trip on 26 September 2024 . All reservations were made on booking.com and payment of 510 € was made in advance for 3 nights. The day of checking in they charged me 46€ claiming that this is the tax, though everything was paid in advance.It was clearly written on booking.com that 510€ includes the tax and all fees . Aftercontacting booking.com they explained to me that they have no right to take any extra money from me.So yeah I was deceived and my money was stolen . They blocked any comment on booking.comI’m so disappointed, first trip to Amsterdam and this experience at one of its hotel that I thought it a decent hotel.

I recently stayed for 3 night’s. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant / bar was good - I ate there each night. The room was a comfortable size. Everything worked well - internet, air-conditioning, heat, hot water. Very large TV with multi language stations / shows.Although it’s next to the hi-way, with windows closed the room is very quiet at night.Not much in the immediate area of the hotel in terms of restaurants, bars, shopping.A 10- minute walk to tram #17 which takes you all the way the Amsterdam’s Central Station in 28 minutes without changing. A nice little tour ride through Amsterdam.At the same station you can catch the Intercity train to/from Schiphol airport. Only a 10-minute ride to/from the airport. And the price is good for the value!My only comment is that the hotel does not have proper King size beds as I booked. They simply push 2 single beds together and add a thin mattress on top. However, several times per night the 2 single beds would open up and with the thin mattress topping, you can fall into the gap between the 2 single beds. Ultimately I ended up just sleeping on one of the single beds.Having said that, I stayed for 3 nights because staff and service was good. Point is, don’t pay for a King bed because they don’t have any in the hotel, unless you are happy with the 2 singles.Everything else was wonderful and I’d stay there again!

It's actually an "okay" hotel. We only booked it for overnight stays anyway.We had a large JBL box with us that, unfortunately, was left outside the door overnight. As it happened, in the morning she was gone.We spoke to reception and also showed pictures!!!But only when we threatened a police investigation. He opened a small door to a storage room where she was standing!Overall he wanted to steal them!!!

Good service, overdue maintenance in almost all rooms. Some have mold, some have leaks in the shower, some have bugs. A lot of weed is smoked in and around the hotel.You must keep the windows closed against smoke and cannabis smells. Simple.There is 1 employee who always leaves the parking lot gate open during his shift. Then everyone can enter freely. There are a lot of homeless people and pot smokers there, so it is very unwise to leave everything open. But he always does it, no matter when he's on duty.

It was really shitty, it was really full and we were being shouted at all the time, you weren't allowed in the guest kitchen and we were shouted at a lot. It cost €500 and I'm very disappointed in this 4 star hotel so for the people who want to go there, go Better not and look for another hotel, it deserves 2 stars in my opinion, I hope you listen to what I'm telling you and listen to my advice
