A women only hostelle but ultimately the staffs are not very girls' girls. There was an old lady staying with us during ny stay and it was fine but she had an odor that i could smell from my bed and always kept asking me to use my charger and my comb which i always had to turn down.I had initially booked the wrong date for my first night which they insisted could not be refunded to me. Even though i ended up extending for 2 more nights, they had to be paid separately. This i could understand but it was not cheap the price i had to surrender to them.Room lock beeps everytime and one of the room i stay in on my first night beeps like 4 time everytime it was opened. Not very friendly when there are firls still coming in and out at 2- 4am.And as mentioned by many, locks are holey, not a problem for me because i just placed them in the bigger bag. But they are also noisy. On top of the beeping locks, when the girls are constantly draghing out the lockers. It calls for very sleepless night.Lastly my eggs and tomatoes and other grocery kept getting stolen even with my name on it and the staff just said "well i cant help you with that you got to be more careful". Ultimately i had to sleep with my groceries in the locker.Women only hostel doesnt make it any safer or more hospitable.

Nice cheap place. A little loud at night with people coming and going but that's not their fault. Close to the train station so good for early flights. The area around was a bit sketchy at night.

The hostel itself is amazing, but the location is terrible. Pretty far from the city centre and it's in a neighbourhood we were told not to walk alone at night because it's quite dangerous for women. So....what's the point in having a female-only hostel in an area where females can't walk safely at night? (And it's true it's quite dodgy, the only time my friend and I came back to the Hostel at night we almost got mugged). Also we were not given a heads up about this by the hostel team when we checked in, so we had to learn about how unsafe the surroundings actually were the hard way. Wouldnt stay there again, which is a shame because, like I said, the hostel itself is really cool.

Women-only hostel perfect for traveling alone or with friends. I had a great time, it's a welcoming, well-organised place, with some evening group activities which are a great way to meet new people from all over the world.Good cleaning, the bathroom was a little dirty in the morning because the cleaning lady arrives at 11. Clean and well-stocked shared kitchen. I stayed in a room for 10 people and slept well by buying earplugs in the hostel for €1, I heard absolutely nothing. I also purchased the padlock for €3.50 for the locker.the cabinet is under the bed, it is very roomy.silence time from 10pm to 8am.It was beautiful, a truly welcoming women-only environment.

All-female hostel a little far from the center of Amsterdam but still reachable. The environment of the common areas is truly welcoming and beautiful, even the fact that it is only for women makes you feel very comfortable. Large rooms with plenty of beds, beautiful bathrooms and showers. Really comfortable and well-kept place, excellent cleanliness, the only downside is the distance from the centre, otherwise a very nice stay

The hostel was not bad.+1) Only women live in the hostel, so I felt safe.2) The premises were quite clean, everyone tried to maintain cleanliness.3) A towel was not included in the price for the bed, but it could be purchased for 1.5 euros.4) There was an opportunity to cook in the kitchen, for this there was everything necessary.5) Convenient make-up tables, there are hair dryers and hair straighteners.6) Good price-quality ratio.7) Convenient door closing system in the room.-1) Many interior items are not new, somewhat worn, with traces of use.2) I did not really like the "girly" interior of the room.3) A very inconvenient locker for storing things under the bed. It is uncomfortable to use and it also hit me in the head.4) The locker lock was not included in the price and had to be purchased separately for 3.5 euros. Without this lock, the roommates had access to my belongings.5) The stairs to the second floor were not convenient. May cause inconvenience to the elderly.

They are super rude, because of my late check out they took all my things and put them in a bag and broke my padlock. That never happened to me before in any hostel, they say they’re a ladies hostel but they don’t treat other women in considerate ways at all. Super rude, I don’t think this is a hostel that should be ran by women because they’re so lame at handling the “business”.

A perfect female youth hostel, very safe, very considerate, and very conveniently located. There are many shops and restaurants as soon as you walk out, but it is safer to stay in the hotel at night.

Not a backpackers hostel. We noticed a lot of older/homeless (?) women were staying here. We slept in one of the dorms, but had to move out of there because one of the other women staying there was mentally ill (?), and she was saying a lot of concerning things in the middle of the night. The staff was great at placing us in another room, but concerning that a woman like that was even allowed to stay there. The location is fine, a lot of shops and restaurants. But it felt like quite a poor area, felt a little unsafe at night. The city center was about 30 minutes with public transport, but we didn’t really mind this. The lockers under the beds had big holes in them, so people could potentially just get stuff out from there if they wanted. The kitchen was good, not much space in the fridge though.
