Hostel located in a beautiful structure, it was once a school, you can reach the center in a few minutes on foot by walking inside the Vondelpark. Very helpful young staff, excellent breakfast, simple but clean rooms. Suitable for families with children. We will be back!

I don’t want to say too much about it in case it’s going to be too packed out in future. But I will say it is absolutely ace for the solo traveller - clean, safe and central. The staff are fantastic, and fellow travellers are really interesting to meet. Vondelpark is right next door, and it is beautiful to just sit and watch the world go by, on foot or on a bike.

Stayokay Vondelpark has a great location, right by Vondelpark and close to Amsterdam’s main attractions. The hostel has a clean and social vibe, and the staff was friendly. However, I was disappointed to find I had to make my own bunk bed upon arrival, which felt a bit inconvenient after a long day of travel. For the price, I expected a bit more in terms of comfort and convenience, especially given how expensive it was.Overall, it’s an okay choice if you’re looking for location over amenities, but I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get. 3 stars.

Perfect location on the edge of the Vondelpark. Just walk into the center.Great stay with our family.Clean room except for the walls sometimes, some spots here and there with remains of mosquitoes that would have been annoying.Breakfast was fine, hunger was satisfied, but not especially for breakfast.Service was perfect, questions were answered quickly by email and very hospitable to check in in the morning as we would not return until 10 p.m.All in all a nice stay for a nice city trip.

The hostel is good for a night or two. It’s clean has space, lockers etc and it is centrally located. It’s not really a backpacker’s hostel much more of a hotel vibe with dorm rooms. There were lots of European students staying during my visit, so it wasn’t really many travelers.If you are a backpacker looking to socialize I’d choose another hostel but if you just need a dependable place to sleep this will do it.

This is the perfect place to stay if you travel alone and don’t want to spend too much money. The hostel located next to the park and close to the main museums, interior is fresh and beautiful, hygiene here is on the top level and the place looks very welcoming and safe.

They put me on a room with 7 guys and it was lowkey disgusting bc the guys didn’t behaved and started undressing themselves in the middle of the room and even more disgusting things that really made me think twice if I was safe

I stayed in Stayokay Vondelpark for a couple of nights and it was AMAZING. Super attentive staff, especially Alina and Anaïs. Location is perfect, rooms are clean and facilities are great. Good opportunity to meet new people. Definitely recommend 🥰

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 4 children in a private room. The room was good, everything was nice and clean. The location was perfect, lovely to be able to pop to the park, and handy for lots of the things we wanted to see. Lots of communal lounge areas to chill out in between trips, and lots of board games to play. The staff were excellent, always happy to help, and answer all the many questions that our children had for them! Nice food and bar there too. Thanks for a great trip, I'd definitely recommend for families

A fantastic hostel in the heart of Amsterdam, attached to the beautiful Vondelpark where you can have a wonderful walk. In just a few minutes walk from the hostel you arrive in the heart of Amsterdam city centre. The staff and services available inside the hostel are excellent, including a bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the possibility of having dinner in the hostel. I definitely recommend everyone to spend at least a couple of nights in Amsterdam, possibly going to this hostel. I personally was very satisfied with the dinner I had in the hostel because the portions were very generous and the food was delicious.

Pros: Great location in Amsterdam. Friendly and outstanding staff. Rooms and bathrooms are always well cleaned.Cons: - If you're put on a floor with visiting school groups, goodluck getting sleep, with energetic kids excited from travel happiness. I suggest, when checking in, to find out if there are any school groups on your floor before accepting a room, or management should think about keeping separate floors / buildings reserved for these and keep them separate from general guests.Although I appreciate clean sheets, it became somewhat annoying having to re-cover my bed, pillow and blanket daily.I think the pricing in the restaurant to be higher vs. the quality and quantity of food provided.
