The rooms are cozy and stylishly furnished, and the location is perfect for a relaxing island stay. I would particularly like to highlight the incredibly nice staff at breakfast - always warm, attentive and in a good mood. The breakfast itself was great too, with a great selection and fresh, local produce. The perfect start to the day! Absolutely recommended!

We booked the guesthouse for a short vacation.Double room with seating on the 1st floor.It's worth noting that there is no elevator and the rooms are accessed via a restaurant with 2 other small ones. You have to climb stairs - a total of 3 stairs. (You can eat well in the restaurant anyway)The room was nicely decorated and clean. We didn't/hardly hear our fellow human beings or the pedestrian zone. The beds were comfortable.The ladies at reception were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome! #holidayfeeling!The short walk to the main building for breakfast wasn't bad.We felt comfortable!

Our accommodation was 150 m from the breakfast room. OK when the weather is nice, bad when it rains. Unfortunately there were problems with the billing for breakfast. But we were able to clarify. Unfortunately, the room and bathroom plus shower are very small/cramped and if you sleep with the window open, very loud on the street in the morning. Next time we would like to try out new accommodation.

Beautiful, old, authentic house. We had a nice double room on the 2nd floor with a small extra room for our son. Super centrally located. Still quite quiet at night. Price-performance for Norderney is tip-top in the high season. Uncomplicated, nice check-in in the main building 200m away.

I booked the guesthouse at the monument and didn't regret it. The telephone information responded to my needs and gave me a room suitable for disabled people, so I was able to start my holiday on Norderney despite my health problems and difficulty walking.The staff was very nice and accommodating, I felt very comfortable and I would book the hotel again at any time.The breakfast was not included, but it was nevertheless very rich with fresh fruit and everything that goes with a good breakfast.Thank you to the nice breakfast staff and a big thank you to the friendly telephone advice.

Hotel with a very good price-performance ratio. Rooms were clean, beds very soft but comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely sufficient and the service staff was wonderfully warm and accommodating.

This hotel is very expensive, has no services, no breakfast is included in the price. Of course it is very clean and well maintained and the location is good but the price performance is still very poor.

We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. The floor plan is good (we had two small children with us), but that was the positive part. The room smelled musty, the headboard of the bed had mildew/mold, a faucet was broken, the old wooden cupboard in the parents' room squeaked so loudly that the children in the next room were disturbed in their sleep, the radiators were rusty, cupboard knobs (plural!) were loose and... off, the shower stained (due to age) and the extra bed with pillows and blanket not washed and musty. There are no fans or air conditioning. The breakfast (in another house) was ok but very monotonous for 7 days. The restaurant (al Monumento) was very good (4 stars!). The food was high quality and the staff was very friendly, which cannot be said about the reception. We addressed the deficiencies at reception. It was said: “The building is a listed building, there’s nothing you can do about it.” Having a lot of experience in monument protection in this area, I have to laugh out loud!

Tiny room, although very clean and the bathroom in particular was very modern, but with a view of the garbage cans. Just ok for one person alone, not feasible for two people. Below the room was the restaurant's kitchen, complete with smells, clinking glasses and smoking employees. 45 minutes before check-out the cleaning lady was in the room without knocking. Breakfast is in another building, good coffee, solid selection, service invisible, fruit salad frozen. Yes, frozen. Unfortunately, overall not really recommended and at €99 per night it's too expensive. The location is very good and the staff is friendly.

The rooms are large and with comfortable furniture, although the bed is too soft. However, the entrance to the hotel is through the restaurant and further steep stairs. Breakfast is delicious, but in another room 200 meters away

The chocolate souffle was ok, only the ice cream had thawed a bit. The cappuccino was delicious. I can't judge what the rooms were like as we only went there for lunch. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star again. I think charging €19.00 for a cappucino, a café au lait and the chocolate souffle is quite steep.
