Stayed at this campsite for one night with our children. Very friendly welcome and easy arrival.Great playground, even a playroom in bad weather. Very clean washhouses. We'd love to come back.

Dear Kauerlach team.We really enjoyed our short vacation with you.The campsite is beautifully prepared and there is a beautifully landscaped natural swimming pond. Great sense of detail!There was a relatively large playground for the children.The food in the inn was very tasty, not ready-made, and large enough portions.What I would personally welcome next time is a sale of everyday things like milk, eggs, etc.The friendly operators left nothing to our wishes and helped us with everything we needed on a daily bike tour without a cooler bag.All in all, we really enjoyed it and will definitely come back :)

We haven't received such a friendly welcome at a campsite for a long time - the food was great and the herbal liqueur recommended by the landlady was delicious - the place is decorated with so much love and detail - it's a shame that we were only in transit for one day - but We'll definitely be back next year - thank you very much for the great evening - the Amelung family from Wuppertal

Stayed at the campsite for one night on 9/6/24. It was one of the quaint and most original places we have ever visited. Everything was right on this place. The groundskeeper, the cook and the very friendly young waitresses were all top notch.!!!The plumbing etc. Great. The staff has a few kind words for everyone. The campsite residents all feel right at home on the site, not least thanks to the loving guidance of the campsite manager. 5 stars. Highly recommended. Thank you for having space for us to stay overnight.

Very nicely located campsite, quiet and idyllic. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the social areas leaves a lot to be desired! The swimming pond wasn't particularly nice either because it was heavily overgrown with algae!

A really excellent place. We were only passing through for one night, but we took our time and looked at the place extensively.Cleanliness is guaranteed, friendly staff, you can swim (and without chlorine since it is a natural swimming pool - wow!), lots of play options, spacious parking spaces,...Price at a fair level, 5 minute showers €1. Washing machine and dryer also available - great!We will come back, very much so!

An absolutely great campsite, with friendly operators. Everything is designed with great attention to detail and passion. Everything is super neat and well organized. The food in the “Weiherstüberl” is excellent and inexpensive. Absolutely quiet location with great dog walking routes from the square.I will definitely come back!

Announced 1.5 hours in advance! Get a wonderful place while passing through! Modernized, maintained, decorated in memory of prehistory.One of the most beautiful campsites we've had in a long time! Lucky find via Google.Located on the A9.2 adults with van. Electricity included for €41. Shower for a euro is absolutely great!Trunk placed towards the lake. Pure romance!Flushing house, shower, toilet very well maintained. Hot water for rinsing is a dream, as we rarely see water taps everywhere.It only became clear after arrival that you couldn't swim in the lakes. But the ingenious little swimming pond is enough to cool off.A walk through the square shows that it is really lovingly lived in.There is even a converted caravan at the playground, which allows the children to tide over a period of bad weather🥰Wonderful excursions can be started by bike.In the evening the ducks and geese chatter lovingly. In your own restaurant you can enjoy delicious, home-style food. Retro style is cool and gives it a special characteristic. Reservation required as it is also very popular with the surrounding residents.A snack and drinks vending machine are available 24/7 to satisfy your cravings.There is a friendly hello and a smiling look from long-term campers and staff alike. The boss loves what he does and you can feel it! We immediately felt welcome and arrived.Really great!!!! Keep it up!!!To be honest, I'm shocked by some of the very harsh reviews. And I wonder what such people are thinking about writing such a 1-star review for this campsite! Then stop camping and go to a hotel!Anyway, this is camping that feels right and will DEFINITELY keep us coming back! But then with children and dogs!And definitely longer! See you next time!!!All the best from the bottom of my heart!

Very satisfied.Tom with his strict, friendly but correct manner is great.The right-handed beer was very tasty and the Radler was super tasty.The boss's recommended homemade potato salad is highly recommended.Beautifully landscaped space and great natural pool.Relaxation guaranteed.

This campsite is an absolute hammer.The operators are an absolute dream.Toilets 🚽 are clean, showers 🚿 are clean.The place is clean.The service is an absolute dream.We were there on August 19th. - 08/23/24 there.The campsite is simply great.That's why full stars everywhere 🌟.Thank you ☺ to the operators for the beautiful days.And we'll definitely be back.👍👍👍

We were passing through and found this campsite via Google. A complete success 👍✌️. We received a super friendly welcome and were given a nice parking space with a concrete terrace surface. Afterwards we went for a quick swim in the natural swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was great (burgers are recommended). So conclusion:Place great, food great, prices good, washroom clean, gladly again. Staff and especially boss keep it up 😉👍✌️

We spent two nights at the Kauerlach nature camp. We liked the quiet location and the very good motorway connection. The lady at registration was super friendly and the space was good so far.Unfortunately, we have to criticize the sanitary facilities; although they clean every day, they only clean up to head height. The ceilings were completely left out; there were endless spiders on the ceilings that weren't afraid to abseil down a bit while you were in the shower or brushing your teeth. The sanitary facilities live up to the name nature camp.Otherwise, value for money was okay.

Located directly on the A9, more of a transit area and when we were there in high season it was very full.Our place was very pleasantly located, electricity and water were close by. However, water is not suitable for drinking without boiling.The way to the sanitary facilities, which are simply too small for the number of guests and size of the place, is very long, depending on where you are standing. The cleanliness of the toilets, which apparently are also used by the restaurant directly opposite, was catastrophic in the late hours. Depending on the occupancy, cleaning once a day is not enough. Unfortunately, it depends on the clientele, as there are also people among campers for whom a toilet brush seems to be an artifact from eons past.The place itself is located on a few small lakes, very nice, a swimming pool has been created, although small, but there is something there. Swimming is not allowed in the lakes. Bread service and a few nice museum pieces are also there.For us a 3.5, which would have been 1 point higher if the sanitary facilities had been more clean.
