TERRIBLE since we entered we knew what it looked like. I have been to many hostels and it is the worst place I have ever been, poor service and also disgusting. The bed smelled bad... you have to take the one that's free, we slept for 3 hours because we were tired from the bus and we escaped from there, we preferred to spend the day without bathing than doing it there. For wanting to save u. We ended up losing 80 euros.

The worst hostel I have ever been in in my life, privacy 0, the beds have no curtains, the man who does the “cleaning” entered our room when we were still sleeping, 6 people making a lot of noise, talking super loudly; one of the girls complained and on top of that this man told her that it was 10 in the morning and to hold on; 20 minutes later he came in shouting with the receptionist to check the beds, we already argued with him and he told us again that it was 10 in the morning. The cleaning of the hostel is between little and none, before entering the room on the landing there are many blankets thrown on the floor, which apparently are part of the decoration. Conclusion I would not return even if they paid for my stay.

Well-intentioned advice: spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. The hostel is right above a club and the windows are so bad you could sleep on the street because of the noise, the smell and the bass. The whole hostel smells of beer and musty, everything is dirty and there are unidentifiable stains on the bed covers (looks like blood). There was only one small bathroom for 14 people, which was completely flooded after one shower.Oh and you can only pay in cash there, which of course you can only find out on site.Apart from the central location there is nothing positive I could say. At least we didn't have bed bugs.

This hostel is absolutely terrible. I have been to a few hostels in amsterdam and leidseplein is horrific. The entire place is extremely dirty including the sheets and pillows. …

Booked for a cheap price, our booking turned out to be canceled upon arrival, but we were allowed to stay for double the price. Of course not because it is super dirty here
