Title: Cozy accommodation with a warm atmosphereEvaluation:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The warm owner creates a cozy atmosphere that makes your stay particularly pleasant. The rooms are lovingly furnished and clean. The breakfast was delicious and individually prepared. The location is also ideal for exploring the surrounding area. I can fully recommend this guesthouse and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Clean, a bit old fashioned. Pretty bad value for money. Rather simple, breakfast is only very short and very basic (fake Nutella, but delicious rolls). But expensive. Would not recommend.

Very pleasant here. The rooms are bright, clean, the bathroom has daylight and a shower, a TV and WiFi are available. The breakfast is sufficient, requests are taken into account, and the boss, Ms. Ziegler, lovingly runs the guesthouse on her own. I like being here and can only recommend it

Very cozy accommodation, lovingly managed and furnished. The only disadvantage (for older people) is that the beds and the toilet are very deep. The breakfast is rich and is refilled at any time if necessary, just like with coffee

Since my partner and I have been regularly in Georgensgmünd for work for a year, we have often stayed in the Alte Schmiede and we probably already know every double room :) . All rooms were always very clean and tidy, the beds were always good, the rooms were bright and friendly and the bathrooms were all spacious and had windows. We think the breakfast buffet is completely okay for the price. The guesthouse is run very lovingly and conscientiously by the very nice owner, Ms. Ziegler.

The two of us stayed in the guesthouse for two nights as a married couple. But unfortunately you can't give the house more than two stars:The landlady was very nice and the room was very nicely decorated at first glance. But the beds were beneath all dignity: sagging, soft and creaking with every movement. A restful sleep was out of the question. The bathroom: very small. A corpulent person would probably have had to go in backwards so that he could get out again. The shower head has also seen better days: it probably hasn't been changed in ages. Dark traces of mold and water sprayed in all directions, but not over the body. The breakfast: very meager, not even fresh fruit as promised. The price per night is completely excessive, no matter how beautiful the surroundings are.Our conclusion: once and never again
