We stayed in this lovely family-run guest house for three nights. The hosts, Michaela and her mother, welcomed us warmly upon arrival.We stayed in a lovingly furnished room with a fantastic view. The room was very clean and had a comfortable pine bed.When you wake up, you can smell the freshly baked rolls throughout the guesthouse.The breakfast room is furnished with great attention to detail. The breakfast is very rich, of very good quality and beautifully prepared.There is a great, large garden with a beautiful barrel sauna, unfortunately we didn't use it because we didn't have enough time.The location of the Debicher Wastl is great, you can quickly walk to the nearby center of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. The Zugspitzbahn and many hiking trails are also very close.The guest house can be recommended with a clear conscience, and we will definitely come back.

Super nice guest house and a great hostess - we would love to give it six stars 😊We were greeted at the parking lot right in front of the front door and followed by the most relaxed check-in I have ever experienced.We had the Schachenschloß. The room was in great shape, clean, view of the ski jump, TV, WiFi... what more could you want?Breakfast very tasty. You can choose what you want the evening before (in terms of rolls, sausage/cheese) so that food isn't wasted unnecessarily 👍🏼👍🏼If you skip room cleaning during a longer stay, you will receive money credited or you can donate it to the mountain rescue service - great campaign!We had a great time here and will definitely come back 😊

It's a nice family guesthouse where we stayed overnight so we could go on various hikes from there. Breakfast is prepared lovingly and, if necessary, a little earlier if necessary. The refrigerator is also practical and can be used to cool the provisions for the next day. The sauna was also very good after the tour.If I go on holiday in the area again, I would love to come back.Thank you for the wonderful time.

A very familiar guest house in a prime location, close to the train station and both town centers. We had the Jubilee Gratsuite with a view from the balcony of Alpspitze and Großer Waxenstein, the Wetterstein Mountains and even the Olympic ski jump. We were warmly welcomed. The room was great, with lots of pine for super comfortable nights. In the morning there was a loving breakfast with everything your heart could desire. We felt very comfortable here and will come back!

My brother and I were guests at the 'Debicher Wastl' for a week at the beginning of July and were totally thrilled by the friendly hosts/mother and daughter Grasegger, our room/'Jubiläumsgratsuite' and the great breakfast table. The hostesses (mother & daughter) are super nice and warm. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home.I was very satisfied with the room and the breakfast.The barrel sauna was a highlight and it was really good to relax there after the hike.I can only recommend the accommodation. ☺️🫶

The owner, Michaela, gave me a very friendly welcome and showed me my nicely decorated double room, Blaue Gumpn. It is a very homely guesthouse where you immediately feel at home. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, I love the Bircher muesli that Michaela conjures up. The fact that great importance is attached to avoiding food waste is the icing on the cake. Full marks for this really beautifully decorated and rustic yet modern and cozy guest house! The two hostesses are very warm, we felt welcome from the start. From the delicious breakfast, prepared with a lot of love, to the great central location (approx. 12 minutes' walk from the town center of Garmisch or the historic Ludwigstrasse in Partenkirchen) and the amazingly spacious barrel sauna with tub and relaxation lounges - simply recommended all around!

It was the best decision to choose the Debicher-Wastl! We felt so comfortable, there is a family atmosphere. Michaela and Mutti are just such warm people who also take loving care of their guests. The delicious breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is very clean and very comfortably furnished.The connections are also great.Conclusion - we already have wanderlust.
