There were three of us in a room for a short trip to hike to the Zugspitze (3 nights). The room was functional and clean. The bathroom was very small, but with a great shower. We only stayed there to sleep anyway and everything worked for us. The large balcony has a beautiful view of the greenery. We were happy to have great food in the attached restaurant in the evening. The hostess was super friendly. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the hotel and restaurant!

Our room was clean and traditionally but still modernly furnished. The internet/Wi-Fi didn't work, when asked they just said that the technician had to come. Unfortunately there was neither a refrigerator nor a kettle in the room. The lamp for the table was not hanging above the table, but so low and in the middle of the room that we hit our heads several times. The holder for the shower head didn't work, so I decided to put it on the floor before it fell on my feet. Overall, the bathroom was far too small, it should have been 1-2 square meters larger. When you sit on the toilet you hit the handle of the shower wall. When I ran into the bathroom, the last floorboard from the room was loose. For this price, I would definitely have expected more comfort. The view of the garden was nice, it was quiet and we had a balcony.

The inn is beautifully located near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I would say that you need a car here, but there is a bus that you can use for free. The owner is really very nice and service oriented. The big plus point is the restaurant that is located here. It's really excellent! You can order breakfast for an additional charge, but there are also alternatives that can be reached by car.

Cafe stella, loveless place, total tourist rip-off. Way too expensive and the cake has way too much sugar in it.

The operators are very nice and attentive. Breakfast is served at the table, nothing was missing. The restaurant is particularly recommended, everything is very lovingly prepared and tasty. The rooms are nicely decorated and also very clean. We were traveling through with a dog and felt very comfortable, thank you for the great stay.

Unfortunately not recommended. We chose the Brandnerhof because of its direct proximity to the cross-country ski trail and the quiet surroundings. Unfortunately, we hardly had any of it, because there was a party in the restaurant until 2:00 a.m. with music so loud that the whole house vibrated. It also turned out that there are three cell phone towers installed on the next house in the immediate vicinity.Unfortunately, the owner is not particularly service-oriented (she generally doesn't respond to emails) or friendly, she has no understanding of allergies and intolerances, and despite repeated requests, they are simply ignored and forgotten. When I asked at breakfast what I should do then, I was told that I should eat breakfast without bread. Since breakfast is based on bread rolls and there is hardly anything else you could eat, this was not possible and we inevitably had to cancel our breakfast and look for an alternative somewhere else. Afterwards she also charged for an entire breakfast because one person had drunk a small glass of orange juice (standard juice from the pack). Simply outrageous, we will never come back and will definitely not recommend it.There is one star for the other staff, who were very nice and also the room.

Easily accessible. Only a little bit away from the main road, but still very quiet due to its location right on the mountain. The journey to Garmisch-Partenkirchen also takes no longer than 5 minutes. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom is also in good shape.Breakfast is available upon request. You can eat this in the associated restaurant. All wishes are taken care of. The staff is very accommodating. Always friendly. Always smiling. Always helpful. We were also given lots of good tips for excursions nearby.👍👍If you wish, you can also dine in the restaurant in the evening. There are dishes for every taste. The unusual Argentinian specialties were particularly delicious.Overall, a top accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired.

A nice location with good cuisine.Unfortunately, room service was rather non-existent; in the evening the rooms looked the same as when we left them in the morning.Very unfortunate.

ATTENTION: If necessary, a lumber room with a bathroom separate from the room can be rented at full price. In July 23, I reserved a double room (1, 2 or 4 according to their HP) directly via the provider's homepage for the price of 126 euros including breakfast per night and immediately paid a 30 euro deposit. Then a day later I asked in writing to move the reservation to a day later and, since there was no response, I also spoke to the owner on the phone and said, "It's no problem at all" and she would change it and make a note of it. At this point, double rooms on the half board could also be booked for the desired night. When we arrived at the end of September 23rd: The owner was sitting at the reception looking at 100 pieces of paper from her statement, visibly annoyed and had to see if there was anything else available... (great). We were then handed the key to the “room” in question, into which we followed the owner. Shortly afterwards we asked her that it didn't correspond to the room we had booked and whether something could at least be done about the price. The room given to us doesn't even exist on the homepage (pieced carpet, wobbly table, ancient bed, old closet, bathroom at an angle compared to the hallway with through traffic). After some back and forth, she pointed out to us that we could also stay overnight somewhere else (!). This has never happened to us before and can hardly be surpassed in terms of audacity. According to her, she doesn't like to give the room away either, but for her it's the same effort with cleaning and that's why she rents it out at full price and we can try it in an inn down the road.Ultimately we decided against staying there based on her “recommendation” and she probably transferred back the 30 euro deposit and took a photo of the transfer (?).From this courtyard we then booked a nice room in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a similar price directly via a booking portal, which turned out to be not only an upgrade, but also the best decision. Conclusion: You could have saved yourself the hassle and effort, it would be better to cancel straight away and go somewhere else, the selection in the region is huge and you can also find something nicer at a similar price, for example in GAP.
