Went there for dinner and couldn't enjoy the view from the terrace.Only my wife liked the food (salad). Not the children and me (children's schnitzel and pork knuckle). Prices would have actually led us to expect better food. The service was very friendly and approachable at any time. We probably won't come again.

The service guy was moderately nice. Food, the broth didn't see any meat, it was probably cooked on roots pulled out of water, I don't recommend it. At first glance, the veal meat looks huge, especially when you first cut it through the breading, half of the meat is breading and I must admit that the breading was better than the meat. I honestly don't recommend this place, best regards🫤

I can't say anything about the rooms because we were only there to eat. I can't understand the negative reviews. Service is absolutely friendly, you get a special table where the stroller fits. Food is rich and filling. The only thing I have to complain about is that you can only get to the restaurant via stairs.

The warm atmosphere and friendly staff make you instantly relax.Food is a real feast for the senses! Each dish was carefully prepared and the flavors were perfectly balanced. You can see that the kitchen uses the highest quality ingredients, which immediately translates into excellent taste. We especially recommend the main courses - expressive, fresh and perfectly seasoned.The service deserves the highest praise - the waiters were polite, professional and always ready to answer our questions or help us make a choice.The owner, Jurgen, is a person who radiates positive energy, a person full of passion and commitment. You can see that he created this place with heart - both the atmosphere and the cuisine reflect his attention to every detail. Thanks to him, the restaurant is unique and guests feel at home here. It's just a pity that there was so little time to talk!This place is a real treasure! The Gungl Stubn was damn full when we were there.We still got a nice seat without a reservation.Despite the busy economy, the waiting time for the food was perfectly fine and the conditions were always friendly with a smile on the face.Plus, it was damn tasty.I would be happy to come back and can definitely recommend the Stubn!!

We had dinner in the Gungl Stubn today.We both had schnitzels and they were perfectly breaded.We really enjoyed our meal here and the service was very friendly and quick.At the end there was a Kaiserschmarrn which was very tasty.We can recommend the inn with a clear conscience.

Contrary to some negative reviews, I can only report positive things, we were guests in the Gungl Stubn on two evenings.Orders were taken quickly and brought to the table, as were subsequent requests such as ketchup and mayo.The drinks were cold and the food was beautifully presented, super tasty and, above all, plentiful!On the first evening I had the schnitzel and on the second the cheese spaetzle.The waitress and the host were always very friendly and, above all, patient when my card payment didn't work four times.The view of the mountains from the terrace rounded off the visit perfectly :)

Good food that is served quickly, with a beautiful view of the Zugspitze.Almost right next to the Zugspitzbahn, so you can easily ride out the traffic jams to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The view from the terrace is beautiful, but only if you don't sit under the umbrellas. You can't see any of it there. These were only folded away at the end of the day.We enjoyed the food very much. The portions were large.Unfortunately the beer wasn't really cold.The service rarely came by, but was busy clearing and tidying up from 9 p.m. onwards, even though a few tables were still occupied. That was very uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it is recommended for a trip.

Food was tasty and prices were okay. Unfortunately, we weren't full because the portions (spätzle, salad, steak, chicken) weren't particularly large, even though they were very nicely prepared.Large selection of drinks. The terrace is directly on a street, which is often not visible in the photos. Depending on how busy it is, it can be a little louder. It's still nice to sit in the sun and the service is very friendly.

Hui on the outside and yuck on the inside. Truly the worst meal we've had in a long time. Just loveless mushrooms as a starter for €11, even the bread had to be paid for additionally. Then the main courses, which are way too expensive. The sauce for the cream schnitzel didn't taste like anything, as did the completely boring "homemade" spaetzle. When we asked for salt, they simply forgot it. The service was bad. We were only asked for drinks once. You can find friendliness elsewhere, our greeting was only answered with “jaja”. Completely annoyed and unfriendly man in service. The lady still made an effort. And the Jubge didn't speak any German at all. Only the view is good here. We really regret the 75 € for 2 people. So really not recommended.
