My husband and I stayed here on a cycling tour and couldn't believe our luck.The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with period features throughout and a stunning courtyard garden. Our double room was both charming and comfortable - plenty of room for our panniers too.The secure bike room within the courtyard garden has electric sockets for charging ebikes. We appreciated the well-stocked honesty bar that was excellent value, a bottle of wine was only €12.

Loving, charming and impressively renovated country hotel in half-timbered style. I was very surprised by the comfort and detail that is offered here. The breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

For us, everything went wrong here, so unfortunately our impression is not that good. One person checked everyone in as the rest were already at a wedding reception. Out of 4 rooms booked, only 3 would ultimately be needed and checked in. The person who didn't need the room had booked a single room. Without asking which one was not needed, the key to the largest room was simply kept (bridal suite), so that the wedding couple had to stay in the booked single room that was not needed.It went wrong on both sides, but I still expect that people will ask which room is not needed and not just keep the nicest one. Especially since all rooms still had to be paid for...In addition, the beds were very comfortable, new mattresses might help.

We spent a wonderful weekend in the hotel with friends! We were greeted very courteously at check-in. We have rarely seen a hotel designed with so much attention to detail. As a guest you feel wonderfully looked after and we even received tips for excursions in the region from the owner family. In my opinion, definitely worth a visit! A very special hotel!

We spent a weekend in this hotel. There is so much love in the details. The garden in the inner courtyard invites you to linger. The breakfast buffet was very varied and generously stocked.Baden-Baden is within easy reach and a beautiful swimming lake is only 5 minutes away.We would come here again and again. Perfect for leaving everyday life behind.

The hotel is a scam. Nobody was there during the 3-hour check-in window. We therefore couldn't check in and they kept our money. Horrible, greedy people!! They lied and said that it was us who failed to check in during those 3 hours. The owners are running a scam and I will be calling the authorities. Total fraud!

They told some friends of mine that they had three hours to check-in and during those three hours there was no one there and now they don't want to give them their money back, FATAL!!

The band “The last Internationale” cheated, there was no check in and no money back for them. None of the staff could be reached. It's really unfortunate that this hotel makes life difficult for musicians! I demand a fair refund for the band! Do not make business bookings here!

I was part of a touring party that booked a night at this hotel. The hotel was NOT AVAILABLE during check-in hours and then stole our money by refusing to issue a refund for the 3 rooms we booked. Very unethical and criminal. Greedy horrible people. I don't often write reviews, but I feel a moral need to warn people. Take care.

This hotel is a scam! They give you a 3-hour window to check in (5-8) and NOBODY picks up their phone during check-in hours. There was nobody at the front desk to answer calls during check-in! Absurd. We had to book another hotel bc we were traveling from far and couldn't rely on an unprofessional hotel that doesn't answer their phone. In the end, they kept our money. Crooks! Stay away!

I stayed in the great, rustic hotel for one night because I was at the Roland Kaiser concert at the nearby trotting track. Top hotel, very quiet, clean, and cozy. Very friendly owners.

Very nice and rustic hotel.Friendly service from check-in to day of departure.The hotel has nice rooms, the courtyard is also nicely decorated.A sufficiently extensive breakfast, and the desired coffee will be prepared for you.Definitely worth spending the night there.

The hotel has charm, it is rustic/romantic and clean. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. In my opinion, it is a worthwhile place to stay overnight if there is an event taking place at the nearby racetrack

The service attitude is very good. The decoration of the hotel is lovely. Very quaint building. Basically all the furniture is antique or very exquisite antique-like objects. But the bathroom, heating, TV and other facilities are very modern. Parking may be a little more difficult. The wireless signal is average. Very quiet at night. The yard is also comfortable.

If you don't stay overnight here, you're really out of luck... beautiful rooms with old floorboards and beams that tell stories... in a half-timbered house from 1713,Everything here is perfect, from the breakfast room to the bar room with very good wines, nice hosts and of course this beautiful landscape.Furthermore, top gastronomy in nearby France.
