Absolutely fine for one or two nights. The pillows are very hard, which not everyone likes. Otherwise you can't complain. Check-in is possible 24/7 which is very pleasant. You get a little water which is a nice touch. The accessibility of the emergency number is not that good. The area is not the nicest (industrial area).

Actually the 1 star is still too much.I booked 2 rooms privately and received a reservation confirmation. Luckily, I called the day before our arrival to clarify questions. During this conversation I was informed that there was no reservation for me and asked to provide a booking number, which was not present on my confirmation.No reservation without booking number!!!Do I need to know this as a guest? I assume that the staff should also be able to include a private booking in the program. But that requires “skilled personnel”!!!The gentleman on the other end of the line was very unfriendly and accused me of lacking understanding. Now I'm left without a place to stay. His problem is solved, but unfortunately mine is not.So please make sure that you include a booking number with the reservation confirmation. receive. Otherwise you will have a problem on site!!!

I recently stayed at the Seehafen Hostel and can only say positive things! Although the hostel is located just outside of Hamburg city center, it is still easy to reach and offers a quiet atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing.The cleanliness of the premises is excellent, which is a crucial aspect for me when choosing accommodation. The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more pleasant.Overall, I can highly recommend the Seehafen Hostel. nice, clean hostel with its own bathroom, comfortable beds, bed linen and towels available, free WiFi, located a little outside but still quiet enough for a restful sleep, reception not always staffed, but self-check-in possible.
