We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at the Hotel Fuchs. The hotel was quite flexible here. The food was of outstanding quality with a wide variety of flavors. It was well received and met the taste of our guests.The service was quick and professional. Always friendly and never seeming stressed.Thank you for a relaxed celebration until the early hours of the morning.The double room we rented was very clean and with simple furnishings it offered the peace and quiet we needed for an overnight stay.

Our start to the 3rd stage of the Heidschnuckenweg.The hotel is clean and well maintained. Our room was a bit noisy as the windows weren't that soundproof.The bathroom is great.What has to be highlighted is the good food. I really have to say this. It was awesome.Greetings go out.

The hotel is getting old inside and out, especially the windows show this clearly. The rooms are quite small, the large closet in the entrance area seems out of place; In our case, the toilet and shower were “separated” by a half-height wall. Overall a bit musty, the mattress was also sagging.Breakfast is good as long as you are happy with rolls and cold cuts.You can also hear the train station on the other side of the street and the corresponding trains very clearly.

The hotel has its best years behind it: charm from the 80s, partially renovated, dingy in places (mold in the shower, dilapidated windows, broken furniture, ...). Breakfast room with the cosiness of a train station hall. Positive: quiet location, friendly service.

I went to the Hotel Fuchs restaurant with my mother and daughter on the recommendation of a friend because we wanted to eat game. At Fuchs, this comes from his own hunting. The three of us had different dishes (Heidschnuckenbraten, lamb and wild boar). The meat was extremely tender and the side dishes such as red cabbage, croquettes, etc. were very tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly. The furnishings are dignified and a bit out of date, but that may also be part of the charm of not eating in an expense temple, trendy restaurant or the Asian, Greek or Italian restaurants that are now visited countless times. Conclusion: If you want something “wild”, you can recommend the Fuchs restaurant. Maybe combined with a trip to the heath and an overnight stay (we didn't, so we didn't review it)

A very outdated hotel, both outside and inside, restaurant, breakfast room, dining room and the room I had could use some modernization. The hallway also needs renovation and is very poorly ventilated.

Price performance is great! Good food, good prices. Ice-cold shot glasses, very nice!Service is quite good, but getting coffee before 7:00 in the morning is a bit difficult.

I would like to share my experience from repeated visits to this restaurant. The service, the staff and the food are really great! I can only recommend the food, even if the beer prices are a bit high.In the meantime also stayed overnight once. The room on the 1st floor facing the main street is not that nice. We think the condition needs renovation in some areas. The mattresses are a bit too soft. The positive thing was that the request for an additional pillow was immediately fulfilled. The negative thing is that for an extra €10 you don't even get a water/food bowl for the dog. I can't understand the additional effort involved in cleaning, because cleaning has to be done - whether with or without a dog. Also the windows, because they were obviously spared the cleaning products for a long time.You can tell that it was a smoking room because there is an ashtray in front of the balcony door. If you feel like visiting your room neighbors, walk along the balcony and look into the windows. Not solved so well. Partitions provide a little more privacy.It is commendable that the toilet was separated from the wet area. At least in the lower area of the wall. At a height of around 200 cm there is a kind of “pass-through”. In other words, the smell of the “big wide world” drifts into the wet area and joins the background noise. The “working area when doing business” provided is so small that it is ideal for people of short stature. People with a normal height of around 185 have considerable difficulties. When you're sitting, you don't know what to do with your knees. When using the paper after business tasks, you are faced with the problem of how do you get behind with it? An almost impossible task. Perhaps the planner of this oasis of well-being was a person of dwarfish stature. I hope my suggestions will help to optimize this oasis of well-being and make it more pleasant for all users in the future.However, breakfast was a highlight! There was fresh fruit, very good coffee, quark dishes, jam, fresh sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon and many other delicacies - just great!There is potential for improvement in the room area. Service from the staff was tip top. My impression is that the restaurant staff is heavily burdened by understaffing.In summary, the restaurant offers great service and friendly staff, although I feel they are understaffed. But they are still extremely friendly and helpful.There is potential for improvement, especially in this room for dog owners.

Stayed there one night and ate in the restaurant. The rooms were well cleaned, with a mix of modern and older details. The bathroom and toilet looked quite newly renovated compared to the rest of the rooms. It has been a while since the hotel itself was renovated, but it gave the environment a cozy atmosphere. We had dinner in the evening and the menu was typical German food, something we appreciate, and there were options for the children. As the hotel is located in the countryside, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant which were partly disturbing during dinner as you had to constantly wave them away from the food. We appreciated the food and liked the service during dinner. The breakfast was good and nicely presented. Feels like it is a family-owned hotel as the food felt more genuine and prepared than in larger hotels. We only stayed there one night during transit and we therefore did not have the opportunity to discover the surrounding area. The hotel was in a village quite a distance from the highway.

I went there with a friend after we went to Barefoot Park.Everything was very good.The food was a set menu.There was a delicious soup, then our meal and we were even served dessert. We were very impressed.
