Highly recommended. Mattresses very comfortable, not for those who have to sleep hard. Quiet, rooms facing the forest especially. Some rooms have new bathrooms (5 stars) others are old but totally clean. If you sleep late, you should take a room with a double door; the hallway can be vacuumed from 9:20 a.m. In some rooms, LED bulbs with a somewhat uncomfortable coolness.Restaurant Bavarian cuisine. Very good! Price performance appropriate. Also cheap food for kids. Great ambience in alpine style. Beer garden great. Big old trees, lots of space for children. We were several days.

Yes, the hotel is in a great location with a direct S-Bahn connection. What we didn't like:- The rooms are only partially renovated. For a room that corresponds to the standard of the 80s, the same price (double room 140) is charged as for a renovated room (which are also ok for the price). And then the price-performance ratio is definitely no longer right. There was no understanding of this point of view at reception. Just justifications and baseless reasons.- I find almost 29 euros for a Wiener Schnitzel to be at least borderline. A glass of Primotivo almost 9 euros.- We were escorted away from a table by the receptionist on the grounds that it was reserved. That was correct, but it was still over 45 minutes before the reservation was made. And even after the time specified on the reservation, the table remained empty. The bottom line is an (expensive) experience that we won't have again.

Hotel is good, breakfast is very filling. The S-Bahn station is just a few steps away from the hotel.Swiss people beware: Don't forget to put the CH sticker on your car as you risk a fine. The friendly lady at reception was able to lend us a magnetic CH license plate. Many thanks.
