I stayed at this property for 3 days 2 weeks ago. I've never been as annoyed about a room as I am here. There is no service there, rooms are big enough but not very clean. The beds squeak miserably every time you turn around, as does the bathroom door. As soon as you are greeted you are almost forced to pay. And you have to drive into town to have breakfast. I'm still waiting for my (stupidly forgotten) bike keys to this day. I almost expected that with the service. Thank God I've already been in Bad Lippspringe in another accommodation (which unfortunately wasn't available at the time), for the same price with a sumptuous breakfast and an extremely nice host. I hope Gasthaus Jöring will be available for a long time.

Simple hostel that pretends to be more; but hotel prices do not automatically mean hotel quality!Spatan breakfast from a cheeky landlady with cheeky pricesA guesthouse on a smelly farm where the cows are standing high in their own manure. There's not a word about it anywhere. A rental house with permanently rented apartments is shown on the Internet (pretend false facts?!)The rooms are all located in an uninviting, dark farmhouse. We didn't find an elevator mentioned on the internet. There were rock-hard towels and toilet paper in the bathroom. No soap or anything similar. The shower cubicle had moldy spots on the outside. The hammer was the dreary, spatan breakfast. Without comment, the door to the breakfast room, the floor of which could be cleaned again, was opened for us. Then the lady of the house disappeared. We thought to grab our breakfast. But far from it. On the table were the dishes, a pot of coffee, some jam and 2 rolls for each... Nothing more. After a few minutes we realized that there was some sausage and cheese under one hood. We had coffee but no tea or hot water, no milk or cocoa and of course no juice. No breakfast eggs, no cream cheese, no yoghurt or quark, no bread, no toast, no Nutella or similar. No selection available!Of course we didn't expect this variety! But we expected at least a little more variety or a hint or question as to whether we had any wishes!A bag of tea, packaged cream cheese, 1 yogurt in a cup, etc. could have been offered. All of this didn't have to be openly on the table, but there should have been something more on offer. The landlady herself was having breakfast outside with her family at the same time and had more on her breakfast table than her guests! The landlady has certainly never been a guest in a guesthouse herself, otherwise she would know what is more or less “standard” these days. The price-performance ratio is definitely not right here. When booking, you are informed that if you cancel within 7 days of arrival, you will have to pay the FULL amount. Proportionally is ok, but 100%?This also shows that “a mark” needs to be made quickly! It seems to us that the brash landlady has learned nothing from the many negative reviews (on Holidaycheck and Google); When you point out the deficiencies, she seems offended and tries to turn the tables. A pity.Unfortunately there was neither an invoice nor a receipt. When we left, the landlady was waiting at the door with her wallet.Pension Strate for us never again! A day later we stayed in a hotel with many more amenities and a great breakfast buffet for €2 more.A so-called standard for some things in accommodation would be an advantage. So as a guest you can rely on what is there and what may not be.

Not really good. When I booked I saw the new building with the balconies and the lawn, but we were accommodated in a very old farmhouse. The odor nuisance was very high. It would also have been nice to have a coffee machine or at least a kettle in the shared kitchen.

An agricultural business that also rents out rooms in an old building, no breakfast, large, simple rooms with wet rooms, no comfort at all, unkempt external facilities, classic rooms for fitters who come from the eastern EU countries.

The price for an overnight stay is really okay, we paid €35 per person. The rooms are rustically decorated, lots of pine wood, but there is a fridge in the room. The cleanliness wasn't that convincing. Basically they are classic rooms for fitters. So if you're looking for comfortable accommodation, you've come to the wrong place. But if you want to stay cheaply for one night while passing through, this is the place for you.
