Since the window was open without insect protection before I arrived, it was no surprise that there were mosquitoes in my room, nor were the grasshoppers. The bathroom smelled of urine, the shower was difficult to enter (the doors don't open completely), the shower heads weren't adjustable and the TV had no signal. However, the receptionist was very friendly.

We only booked for 2 nights in the hotel, which is close to the center and in a quiet side street/cul-de-sac. There is a free parking lot behind the hotel, but you can also find space for your car on the street.A large room awaited us with a beautiful double bed, a table with 2 upholstered chairs and a desk with an upholstered chair. Fortunately, the existing cupboard had individual compartments and a compartment for hanging clothes. It's a shame that this large room doesn't seem as bright as it could be due to the way the dark curtains are attached. The curtains cannot be pushed completely to the side, so 1. it always remains a little dark and 2. the window and balcony door cannot be opened completely. The interior decorator wasn't lucky with the curtains (you can also see into the room from the houses opposite because the curtains are so far away from the wall). There was only one socket in the bathroom, which was also opposite the mirror. So blow-drying your hair and checking it in the mirror was difficult. Or it wasn't even possible to charge the toothbrush because there was no place to put it.We avoid the loud and long ventilation in the bathroom that is so often found in hotels when you turn on the light switch by using the light motion detector that we bring with us. The loud ventilation is particularly annoying at night. We slept excellently in bed, the mattresses are perfect. The breakfast buffet was, so to speak, very clear and attractively prepared. And we are full. And extra requests like boiling water and hot milk were granted. On the day of departure, when we wanted to have breakfast promptly at 7 a.m., we found ourselves standing in front of the locked door. We found out that breakfast isn't until 8 a.m. on the weekend. However, we were not told this when checking in. I specifically asked. It is not written anywhere and there is no information folder in the room. It's a shame, a very bad end to our stay. Conclusion: Things just don't seem to be going well yet (change of operator?) After eliminating the deficiencies and communication problems, it's definitely recommended.

Nice cozy hotel. The service was friendly and helpful. The reception is open daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Breakfast is available daily from 8 a.m. If you want, you have to book it for €12. There is a small beer garden and there is a free parking lot 100m from the hotel.

The reception and most rooms can be reached via stairs. Breakfast room too. Renovated rooms. We had a very spacious one with a huge bathroom, which, however, has a corner shower with a very small entrance and only under the TV in room 1! free socket, no hairdryer.
