The main building corresponds to the standard of a youth hostel. Practically furnished rooms, modernized bathrooms. The location is very good. We were in Wenningstedt quite often. The staff is little to no self-reflective. The guest seems to be the most important thing. We were treated harshly for a mistake caused by the house. I have never experienced such derogatory behavior towards us in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, the Klaarstrand has disqualified itself from staying again.

Caution! In the Klaarcamp there are 1 x girls' and 1 x boys' toilets throughout the house.The description of the toilets being in the hallway is incorrect. In the worst case scenario, you have to walk down two floors to go to the toilet at night.When we asked those responsible about it, they became snotty and snappy.Tip, next time, apologize or better organize a plumber before the guests arrive to take care of the broken small toilet on the third floor.The beds creak with every movement.It doesn't take any effort to oil the doors or clean the showers regularly, even if it's just the Klaarcamp.After all, €40 per night per person is also money.We have booked this house again next year as part of a privately organized school trip. We hope the complaints will be taken seriously by then.

Was here for a school trip and can only recommend it. The rooms in the main building have their own bathrooms and the facilities are great. The 5 star (at the entrance) youth hostel is close to the beach in Wenningstedt and Gosch is also within walking distance. There are also vending machines for snacks and the food is great. The staff and hostel management are a 10/10. Only recommended!

For a short business trip, I needed accommodation on Sylt. The current season is considered a “low” season, so plenty of options were available. I however had some specifics in mind.I wished for a quiet, budget-friendly, family atmosphere, close to the beachside, with a half / full board option, functionally equipped, and all other amenities (Shops / Bars / Restaurants) in walking distanceWell, I found exactly what I was looking for at https://www.klaarstrand.de/. I was so positively impressed, that I right away, considered a future booking. The team, starting from reception, F&B Team (preparing daily fresh, healthy, and tasty options with a smile 😊), to housekeeping and even maintenance service (posted his contact details as an emergency number in case needed for support). I was amazed by the family atmosphere, and the fresh and fun conversations we had 😊 , from the welcoming to heartfelt farewell. Here at Klaarstrand, you truly feel, what it means, to check in a Guest and leave as family. I can’t wait, to visit the amazing team again, (maybe next time during some warmer seasons, so I can enjoy the very proximity of one of the most famous beaches of Northern Europe https://www.wenningstedt.de/), see you all very soon, and I sure will share my amazing experience with my friends & family ….

Rooms are quite sparse, without TV, just like in a youth hostel. Breakfast Eider only with white flour rolls. Dinner okay, even for vegetarians

We have been taking a group of students to Haus Klaarstrand every year for some time now. The location is ideal, the team - from management to kitchen to everyone else - is unbeatably helpful and professional and the price/performance ratio is more than fair. We are coming again next year!

Stayed in a group guesthouse for a long time and was more than pleasantly surprised. Really nice modern, rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathroom was available in the room. Breakfast was good and there was something for everyone. Beach can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. I can only recommend it.

For the second time in a row, there were conversations about my food intolerance. Dealing with it is not rocket science. ButCooking brown rice is obviously such an imposition that it can't be done. No information about this is necessary either. For the second time in a row, I found myself without food on the evening of a long day. I still have to pay. I won't come back. I cannot recommend the evening service. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, is great and so are the ladies who prepare it. That was the silver lining for me and ensured that the weekend wasn't ruined.

Great house, I know it from my school days. Great rooms with sanitary facilities. HP and VP possible. Very nice, courteous employees. We'd love to come back.
