I can't say anything about the hotel but what I can say is that the parties on the weekend piss me off as a resident. The bass booms between the houses and since the bedroom is under the roof, it would be like the party was happening right below me. Complaints have also been received, but they probably don't attach any importance to it :)Just like now, it's Saturday and there's a party going on and the place is booming...

I hereby report on 2 stays at the Waldhotel Nachtigall on the outskirts of Paderborn. Times of stay: End of September and beginning of October 2024, 1 night each.To me in advance:I am neither known nor related to the owner family. And I do not own any business or personal shares in the Waldhotel Nachtigall.I report subjectively based on my personal experiences from 2 stays at the Waldhotel Nachtigall.The Waldhotel Nachtigall is a properly renovated, very clean and well-maintained hotel. The two different rooms were larger than expected. Both rooms led out to the hotel's own small park. This made it possible to have a restful sleep despite the window being open. The Waldhotel Nachtigall has a Klafs sauna facility (Finnish and steam sauna). These saunas are also in excellent condition, well-tempered, with clean cozy blankets, rest-lapel-folding loungers, cooling-down benches and a small, well-kept outdoor area, the small park described above.What should be highlighted is the breakfast, which we were pleasantly surprised by twice. Really first-class: lots of juices, sparkling wine, crispy bacon, eggs and fried eggs, several types of bread and pastries, a wide selection of sausages and cheeses, muesli, grains and curds, delicious coffee... and a discreet in the background and still very attentive Service. The day starts really well. In summer you can also have breakfast outside.There's nothing to complain about!!! Thank you for the perfect breakfast service.The dinner menu in the “a la carte” restaurant was at a higher price level and tasted okay.The employees at the reception were diligent and courteous, trying to accommodate our every little request. We met a young trainee at the reception who, despite a short-term software problem, kept her cool, called the right people, organized a coffee with pastries and a burning fireplace for us, and then quickly and confidently to process our booking. Every company wants a dedicated trainee like that. In any case, we found it very pleasant and felt we were excellently looked after.Conclusion:We had 2 very nice stays at the Waldhotel Nachtigall.Everything fit here without seeming artificial.I/we recommend this regional Waldhotel Nachtigall 100%.Thank you for the 2 lovely days and nights at the Waldhotel Nachtigall.

Quiet hotel on the outskirts of town with very friendly staff and good cuisine

Nice hotel but getting old. Still everything clean. Sauna area small but also clean. The sauna was heated up especially for us. The breakfast was very good and rich. But no restaurant on weekends. That wasn't in the description on Booking.com. Even though the hotel sends a confirmation email in which you can read about it, I still feel cheated because I have already paid at that point. Therefore only two stars, we were really looking forward to the food in the restaurant.

Great hotel, rooms not that modern, but that doesn't matter...bathroom is large, super clean hotel, nice wellness area with sauna and steam bath. Breakfast and food in the restaurant were absolutely good and more than sufficient. Service, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Anytime again 😀 Top price/performance ratio!!!

Decent breakfast, good restaurant and we had courteous service. Unfortunately our parking space was under a linden tree and the car was full of 'honeydew'. This could have been pointed out in advance.We found the location between Neuhaus Castle and Paderborn (city center) good.Edited after 1 week

I was here for a week for a seminar. Very quiet location. Next door there is a Rewe and a cemetery. To the back there is a large, green meadow.The seminar rooms are large and nice and bright.The rooms are very nice. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is the perfect size.The staff is wonderful. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The staff goes the extra mile and takes loving care of the guests.The restaurant is also delicious and, in addition to the classic menu, there was also seasonal cuisine.

Experienced a great, patient service team in a large celebration group, who had to experience without complaint how a wonderfully tasty fish/meat buffet surrendered without complaint to the long program of the guests! Sorry for that and thank you for the best cuisine and lovely service…. From professionals & trainees💐in the restaurant & kitchen! Again and again!

Room and bath room heater not working, was obviously already turned down at 0°C outside. Shower head defective. Meals all as convenience food, mostly deep frozen heated up, breakfast very good although. Bad evening restaurant service, 3 female waiters hanging around and 1 poor apprentice did it all. Also, poor convention service, empty water bottles not replaced. What a pity, in principle a very good place - however, the mgmt seems to try saving money at the wrong places.

Went there for one night..will come again..great breakfast.What I personally thought was great was that you could even have a sip of champagne.😉and the small croissants were also very tasty..okay, the sauna was Unfortunately not on, maybe next time. All in all, nice atmosphere..
