This quaint bed and breakfast has all the charm and eloquence of any 5 star accommodations. Heidi house is above and beyond what one might think their experience will be. the personal attention from Heidi herself makes a person wish they never have to leave. Excellent breakfast, excellent view of Eagles nest and Königssee. Close to town for walking or hicking the trail alongside the town for a breathtaking view of Berchtesgaden at the top. Looking forward to returning and experiencing more of this area in Germany.

Fantastically cozy accommodation & warm hostessAfter a mountain tour, we stayed at Haus Heidi for two more days to relax. From there, the town center with restaurants and everything can be reached in just a few steps. The Watzmanntherme thermal baths are also within walking distance if the gradient doesn't scare you.We felt very comfortable again in Haus Heidi and enjoyed our stay. We'd love to come back.

A few weeks ago we visited Haus Heidi for the second time and were once again very satisfied. The hostess is very warm and hospitable, so you can only feel comfortable. Breakfast was also prepared every day with a lot of effort and love and individual wishes were taken into account. We can highly recommend this guesthouse.

Nice, cute and cozy.There are no words to describe how good we felt during our stay.Heidi always with the best disposition. 100% recommendableThe place and the town are incredibly beautiful and the view when you wake up and look out your window is priceless.

What a cute and cozy place! Wow!Heidi is a great host! She makes you truly feel at home!I stayed at Heidi's Gastehaus 12 years ago, when I was backpacking with a friend. I allways rememberd Heidi Gastehaus with a special spot in my heart.This year I was travelling with my girlfriend through the south of Germany and I told her "we have to go to this little house in Berchtesgaden".I was lucky to find a spot for 3 days, with a double room, and we headed off to Berchtesgaden.The house:It is a really nice and cozy alpine wooden alpine chalet (like the ones you see all over the area). The entrance has a deck and a garden, and it is full of beautifull flowers.The inside of the house and the stairs are all wooden, and there are lots of beautiful watercolour paintings of the bavarian alps.The room we had (there are 8 of them) was a double bedroom with private bathroom and a gorgeous view of the mountains and the Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus). Everything was neat clean and tidy.The bathroom window also had a view of the alps. Magnifiscet!Heidi is a great host, she took special care to see if we were ok most of the time, and reccomended us some special places not so turistly packed.Location:It is conveniently located insode Berchtesgaden, so once you park your car in the parking lot of the house, you won't need it again to go to eat to or visit Berchtesgaden.Overall I am so happy to have known this place, and I hope it doesn't take me another 12 years to come back.HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

Pretty old building, cozy rooms, some with shower and toilet in the room, some with the toilet in the hallway. Very friendly landlady, always available to give advice and assistance, good breakfast, guests are also accepted for just one night. Just a few minutes walk to the old town of Berchtesgaden. Inexpensive accommodation.

It was once again a very nice, relaxing stay at Haus Heidi.Very nice rooms, nice breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful mountain panorama. It was my second stay at Haus Heidi and I will book it again at any time. In the immediate vicinity there is a really delicious pizzeria and the Berchtesgadener Brauhaus, which serves local specialties to perfection at a really good price. The Berchtesgadener Hell is highly recommended on a beautiful summer evening
