We heartily recommend this guest house! We stayed in room #1 for three nights. What we really liked:💚The hospitality of the hostess (Rodica).💚Perfect cleanliness and coziness in the rooms. Underfloor heating.💚Comfortable and firm mattress for an excellent night's sleep.💚Practical, pretty furniture.💚Excellent location of the guest house: no more than 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, Watzmann Therme, Penny and Edeka.💚When we arrived, two bottles of delicious Berchtesgaden beer were waiting for us in the fridge.Tips for guests: Please note that there is no microwave in the room or in the kitchen.Cooking: In the room there is an electric stove, a kettle, coffee cups, plates of different sizes and cutlery.

Everything just fits there. Great location, employees always helpful and very nice despite a lot of stress. Despite the balcony there is still a communal garden with lots of seating and tables

We stayed here for three nights and it was wonderful. It is located in a very quiet street and near many places in Berchtesgaden. 5 minutes on foot to the Salt mines (Saltzbergwerk Berchtesgaden), approx. 10 minutes to Hofbrau Berchtesgaden (highly recommended for food and drinks) and 20 minutes on foot to the city center. The Eagles Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) parking lot is only an 8 -minute drive from here. Max, Rodica and Florian were great hosts, very friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and even had a small kitchen. They offer free parking and free wifi as well! They also ensured that we were welcomed to Berchtesgaden by leaving 2 beers from Hofbrau Berchtesgaden which were excellent. When we visit Berchtesgaden again, we will definitely stay here! Prost!

The guest house Deml deserves great praise. Everything is very clean and there is good WiFi in the room and the areas.There is also no lack of everyday things. Glasses, cutlery, plates etc. are available. You can also cook something for yourself.Bath and towels are provided.The balcony has a great view of the mountains.The staff is very friendly.A penny is a 5 to 10 minute walk.It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city and the train station.I can only recommend the guest house.

Rooms are a bit dated, but clean, well maintained and everything you can think of is available. The bar has a really nice authentic atmosphere. The hosts are really nice and helpful. Despite that the daughter is the only one that speaks English, and I barely speak German, we were still able to communicate and they made sure I understood everything.

It was really nice to spend a week at the Deml guesthouse!Rodica and Max were very nice and helpful hosts. We will have fond memories of the time we spent with you.We felt at home and it was beautiful!

With the help of another hotel, we were offered 2 rooms for 4 people at 9 p.m. Great rooms, great service and even at a late hour there was still time for one or two conversations. The facility looks great and well-kept, and everyone is warm and welcoming.We will definitely come back.I also forgot my bag, which was sent to me as quickly as possible. We were all thrilled and can only warmly recommend the accommodation.

Family owned quiet and restful guest house. Stayed in an apartment that included 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living and dining area and small kitchen. Perfect for a long visit. Breakfast buffet was good, nice setting with views of the garden and mountains. Free parking.

We've been coming here for about 10 years now and are extremely satisfied. It is always very clean and the breakfast is also very good. Everyone is super nice here. The best staff I have met to date.

We had a very nice time in Berchtesgaden and were warmly welcomed by Max and his team. Even when we ended up forgetting two pillows, Max sent them to us. Thank you again and we'll be back.

I really like it here, got character and the staff and owners really lovely people, it’s on a quiet street by the river near the salt mine museum but still only 4 mins from town centre

My wife and I stayed in this house for two weeks in August. We were offered a wonderful holiday apartment with a balcony. It was extremely quiet and very clean. The landlord and his employee were friendly and helpful at all times.We can well imagine that this was not our last visit to Haus Deml.

The guest house is fine so far, the room is clean, the breakfast and coffee are delicious! The pillow, however, has seen better days😣! This guesthouse is more suitable for people with a penchant for the retro look 1970-80 as the furniture is correspondingly old!
