We were guests at Haus Mitterweinfeld from September 20th to September 26th, 2024 and spent wonderful days there. We met a very friendly host family and had a wonderful room with a wonderful view of the mountains. The entire environment was just beautiful and very relaxing. There was a delicious breakfast and the service was perfect. We would like to thank the Brandner family for their hospitality.

We, a married couple from Vienna, were not in Berchtesgaden for the first time, but were in the Mitterweinfeld guesthouse for the first time. Unfortunately we could only stay 7 nights - every short vacation ends at some point. But we were so excited about the accommodation that we booked it for next year on our day of departure - but for 15 nights!We felt very comfortable in room 1. The breakfast was also decent and you can request more if you are hungry. The parking spaces directly next to the accommodation are also very practical.There are also animals in the wonderful garden. Fantastic views of the mountains and good air round off the feeling of well-being with the Brandner family. We are repeat offenders from now on 😉.

Amazing stay, hosts are great, rooms are great. Very good place for kids, they have a full playground and very friendly farm animals. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful old farmhouse for all generations with a wonderful view of the Berchtesgaden mountains. The city center is a few minutes below the house, accessible via a stairway or street. To the rear you can easily hike long distances through alpine meadows.The holiday apartments and guest rooms are spacious and well-equipped. And the animals on the premises can delight you all day long.

A very nice accommodation where you can go on vacation with your dog WITHOUT any problems... where else can you find that!!! We received a very friendly welcome and throughout the days we were there we received a friendly answer to everything and every question. We didn't miss anything, everything we needed was there...whether it was the room with bathroom and balcony...the breakfast, everything was in fact perfect. In addition, Franz, the host, took one evening out of his time to play music with us...that was once again a crowning achievement for this accommodation. The walk to the center is also short. You won't just get five stars from me, but 10 stars. Thank you for your hospitality...we will definitely come back again...see you soon👍🏼😃

Very nice accommodation, with very nice hosts who are always very friendly and accommodating, and no problems with a dog. We would be happy to come back, the location is unique with a view of the beautiful mountains, a short walk to the beautiful old town, you can get everything there you need, thank you very much for the beautiful days

We had a holiday apartment for 3 people with breakfast in August 2023.The guest house as well as the garden and the grounds are very well maintained, you can tell that it was made with love.There is a beautiful children's playground with a great view of the mountains. As well as a large goats/rabbits/cats and chickens area for the children. There are also horses that children can ride upon request for a small additional charge.The hosts and the junior manager were very friendly, we will definitely come back and can definitely recommend it for families with children.

Very nice guesthouse. Magnificent view. Perfect location in a quiet area, but still very close to the city center. This is only a few minutes walk away. Everyone and everything is super nice. Met great people. We'd love to come back.

We spent a wonderful holiday with the Brandner family. The location itself is simply unique: the way to the beautiful old town only takes a few minutes, but we still lived in the middle of nature and had a wonderful view of the mountains and the valley from the balcony. The warmth of the hosts and our cozy room rounded off our impression. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Was there twice, very nice and quiet yard with the best playground in all of Berchtesgaden.The host spontaneously invited everyone to a local evening, which was a wonderful evening. An all-round great place to spend relaxing days

One star for the location.We didn't feel welcome either. Everything was relatively unfriendly and reserved (so much for the topic of “family” I’m laughing my head off). You had to pull all the standard information out of your mouth.The main thing is to build a beautifully bigoted chapel, that's enough.WiFi is available, but no password. Likewise, no guest card or soap in the bathroom.Breakfast lower standard class with a few slices of sausage and even less cheese that were so thin that you could see through them. Neither napkins nor other accessories available.But according to the reviews everything is great!Don't know where the gentlemen have stayed so far or what the benchmark is here...You don't have to have it again...

One star for the location.We also had the feeling of not being welcome. Everything is very reserved and superficial. All standard information had to be pulled out of the wrinkled nose.Family? I laugh my head off!Rooms very simple and impersonal, even though the house is full of klimbim. Carpeting is no longer an option these days.The breakfast, which was so highly praised by everyone, turned out to be below standard. A few wheels of sausage and even less cheese that was so thin you could see through it.There was no WiFi password, guest card or soap in the bathroom either. Statement: we are not a hotel! Oh right!The impressions were confirmed by a family who had booked a holiday apartment.I don't know where the reviewers have stayed so far and what the standards are here. At least not high...
