We went here for dinner today for my mother's birthday with 5 adults and 2 children. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, the dishes were all very tasty (priced in the higher price segment) and everything was perfect in terms of timing. The two children were immediately provided with their own paintable menus and pens.I would particularly like to emphasize the great service from the young lady and the young man. You took great care of us without being intrusive. It was a perfect evening for us.I can't say anything about the room.Personally, I think that the prices need to be recalculated again, as some of them are really head-scratching, but the service and the ambience make up for it to a certain extent.Thank you and see you soon

I can only judge the restaurant here. There is a large parking lot in front of the door, which is great. The guest room is very comfortable and there are *corners* so you can separate yourself from other guests and not sit on your back. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back. We've been driving past here for years and always thought we had to eat here.We had now arranged to meet up with others and when we looked through the menu we said: There are a few things here that we "have to" try, we'll be back. The drive from Rügen is also worth it 🩷

We had dinner with four people on October 5th, 2024. My mother-in-law is almost 90 years old and my father is almost 87 years old. Of course, my father can no longer enjoy drinks that ice cold and so the request for a small beer at room temperature was desirable. Unfortunately, all drinks are only ice cold. The older people asked whether there were also senior plates or half portions: to which the lady/waitress replied: no, so you have to take the porcini mushrooms and the fried potatoes with the pike-perch. Just like it says on the map. We as children then said: ( of course to relax the situation a bit, everything's fine, we'll manage it. So the portions were really, really plentiful. Even if you're a very good eater yourself, but it really wasn't Of course you want to do justice to every guest and offer good portions, but they were really much too big. You have to expect 35.00 euros for a meal in this restaurant and don't look at the menu online beforehand, because the prices are at least twice as high. A beer 0.4 costs 6.90 euros and a small water or non-alcoholic drink 👀, you have to be careful not to overpay The food was really very cold, the potatoes were so hard, almost raw, simply inedible. It didn't help that everything was served on separate plates. The food was really lukewarm and the potatoes were rock hard And you should too, but that's just usury and no value for money. For many people, service is given a small priority. We have once again come to the realization that food can be prepared much better at home, but our parents also wanted to get out in their old age and relieve us a little.

The two of us went here for dinner. We reserved a table online in advance. Very practical. There's actually a restaurant near us, but the Jagdkrug wasn't really on our radar. The service was very nice, quick and unobtrusive. After the drinks we got our starters pretty quickly. Crostini with chanterelles and tomatoes...a poem. 🙏Not a short time later our main course arrived. Once the Negaster Panfish, my companion had the chanterelles with the pork medallions. Both dishes were very tasty. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Many thanks to the kitchen.Yes, the prices are already upscale gastronomy. But we all want to earn more. And the ingredients are becoming more and more expensive. If it tastes like that, I'm happy to spend money on it.Thank you for the great experience and the delicious food.

Unfortunately my experience at this hotel was disappointing. The hotel is located directly on the main street, but in the second row, but you can still clearly hear the traffic noise. However, the back of the hotel offers a lovely walking or running path with a lovely view of an idyllic lake, which makes up for the location somewhat. However, the restaurant didn't convince me at all. The prices are completely overpriced: a glass of white wine costs a whopping €8.90, a small soft drink €3.50, and the food only starts at €20, even for simple salads. In addition, the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. and there is no way to end the evening relaxing with several people - the hotel neither offers a bar nor a lounge.Unfortunately, the rooms are very small and look outdated. They would desperately need a refresh from an interior designer. What was particularly annoying was that there were no fly screens on the windows and I discovered cobwebs and the corresponding spiders on the ceiling. On the ground floor, the windows are not even equipped with an opaque film in the bathroom. The heavy curtains also block fresh air, which leads to a poor indoor climate.Another big problem is the soundproofing of the rooms. You can hear every noise from the neighboring rooms, which significantly disturbs your sleep. All in all, I unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel due to these numerous shortcomings.

Very good regional food, you have to have the Swiss pan there at least once. We are extremely satisfied and would like to come back. The Borgwallsee invites you to take a walk.

The room is spacious and clean, the bed is soft, the back of the room has a view of trees.Came on a rainy day, so I'm a bit lonely. There is a German restaurant in front. Decorative shop Folk German The food is the same, traditional style, delicious, but the plate is so big, I couldn't eat it all. Ordered fish omelet, there was 1 salad and 1 plate of potatoes 😳😳😱😲

We are regular guests and are always pleased by the consistently high quality of the food as well as the friendliness and professionalism of the service staff, who have been doing a very good job for years. Even though the price level has risen, we prefer to spend a little more money, but we won't be disappointed afterwards if the visit is a culinary failure like in other places in the area.

Way too expensive. A glass of cola for 6.90 euros is just too expensive. The food is good, but also way too expensive. Just under 25 euros for a schnitzel with fries. That was probably my first and last visit. It's a shame - given the truck parking space available, it would have been an option where I would have stopped by more often.
