We booked the holiday apartment for seven days in November 2023.After arriving at 4 p.m. - it was already getting dark - the entire street was torn up right under the balcony and the rubble was being excavated and loaded with large trucks(Huge construction site) with flooding of light.Impossible to sleep there.The hostess wasn't there at first, just a note on the door where the key was.After contacting us by phone, she acted surprised about the construction site, even though she lived next door.We explained to her that we couldn't possibly stay, she said we had to sort it out through Booking ourselves. We then called Booking back and forth in the dark for 1.5 hours until the cancellation was successful.Then booked a hotel in the dark to find accommodation. It would have been nice if the hostess had informed us that the apartment was currently unrentable - especially since we were in contact.It was simply outrageous. No apology from the hostess, she just said she could understand us.We got the money refunded immediately from Booking.The bad start to the holiday was very unpleasant and could have been avoided with a little communication.Purely human - no recommendation.

Central location. Simply and practically furnished, no additional comfort, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils are limited so that the dishwasher cannot really be used. Lots of storage space in the kitchen.WiFi is weak or non-existent. Landlord nice and always available.

Pay attention to the FINE PRINT: Tourist tax not included, plus a service fee and laundry package(!). Large apartment, a bit dark. Technology ok, furniture is already getting old. Terrace not very inviting. The location is ok, a little outside but not too far.

Better to stay at home!In the Untersberg holiday apartment, almost all the window frames were full of mold, which they tried to cover up with curtains. The condition of the dishwasher and oven as well as some cooking utensils were also hazardous to health. Hot water had to be heated in pots; only lukewarm water came out of the pipes. Showering was usually only possible when freezing, the WiFi only worked intermittently and was extremely poor.
