Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated. You sleep well in the beds and the bathroom even has a window. The hosts are very nice and helpful, they had a great insider tip for us for dinner. In the morning there was a wonderful breakfast with everything that went with it. Definitely 5 stars from us and an unconditional recommendation!

I went to the Heckenwirtschaft for dinner. Nice atmosphere, good food. I am not a wine drinker, but the various wines were highly praised by my companions. Gladly again.

Went to the Schilling winery for a few days. Rooms very nice and quiet. The inner courtyard was very nice, you wanted to sit there longer. The food was delicious, as was the wine of course. Breakfast was clear, unfortunately with baked rolls. Since the winery is only open on weekends, we had to look for a place to stop on Mondays and that made it difficult. Luckily, a shop in the neighboring town was open. Hiking options are very limited, it was done in 2 days. Very suitable for a short trip, but not for a longer stay.

A small, fine winery with excellent cuisine in the Häckerstube. All the food is freshly made and the homemade cakes and tarts are a dream. The wine too, of course. In summer you can sit comfortably in the beautiful inner courtyard, but in bad weather the guest rooms offer plenty of space. If you would like to stay longer, cozy rooms are available. Very nice owners and very good service.

Only four stars - because I can't really rate it. We were on the way home and were looking for the winery because we once tried their wine at a local wine merchant. And I can say something about that. Very tasty and inexpensive. Without prior notice and at an inappropriate time, Mr. Schilling made time for us. Thank you for that. We tested the Bacchus, Silvaner and the Scheurebe. All very tasty. Due to the Koiper soil found in the location, it has a more mineral taste than what we are used to, for example, in the Main or Moselle area. But it suits me personally very well. The ambience of the farm and the restaurant was appealing. These can certainly be fun evenings and we will definitely test it in more detail when we get the chance. Seinsheim itself is very manageable. You can get there quickly even by bike. But if you're looking for peace and quiet and the opportunity to go hiking or cycling, you'll definitely find what you're looking for there. The nearby Ochsenfurt is also said to be worth a trip. We haven't had the pleasure yet. But that can be changed.
