The hotel has an impressive location right next to the new lighthouse. We were lucky to have a large room with a direct view of the lighthouse.The rooms have very neutral colors and appear very chic due to their simplicity.Lots of options to create ambient lighting in the room.The bathroom in our room was unfortunately very small.The mattresses are absolutely too soft. You literally sink into it. Not made for every back.The staff in the dining room are very nice and absolutely attentive.The dishes in the morning and evening buffet offer an extensive selection and are very tasty. There is something for everyone.Due to a lack of staff, room cleaning only takes place every two days, but that is completely sufficient.

Located in the middle of town, right next to the new lighthouse. Rooms are completely overhauled, modernly furnished, wardrobe with lighting, small bathroom (but completely sufficient!!!) and television. We were very happy with the buffet in the morning and evening, there was something for everyone and we always enjoyed it. The staff were very nice and accommodating...we would love to come back

A nice hotel on the island of Borkum not far from the beach.There are only a few cars on the island as there are few parking options. Now in October it is not so crowded and therefore very pleasant.

This is our second time in the hotel. This time we were specifically told that we should get in touch to get hard mattresses. We were informed on site that there weren't any. Great at first we chose the couch as an alternative maneuver. Today we wanted to order a pot of tea at 8:30 p.m., unfortunately you can no longer order it at this time. I have no idea what's so hard about getting some water warm, but that's how it is. There is also no kettle in the room where we could make our own tea. Sorry but that has nothing to do with service. We pay around 600 euros for 4 nights. I can't say whether we'll come back again. We like the other BSW hotels better. Strangely enough, everything is possible there.

Centrally located between the train station and the beach. So much for the positive.Our room can only be reached via stairs (4 floors under the roof). The room is quite recently renovated and nicely furnished, but the mattresses are worn out - replacements were not available. The bathroom was installed later. You can only turn when the shower door is open. The toilet seat also had better days - totally red and yellow. The maids come every 2-3 days according to the cleaning schedule. Fresh towels are only available if you put them on the floor first. When in the day they come is a mystery. Many areas are getting old (80s flair).It was not possible to get a table for our group in the restaurant. We always had to split between at least two tables - but at least they were reserved. If you want to treat your children to sweets, the evening buffet is a good choice. Unfortunately, if you're looking for something fresh or low in fat, you'll have to eat outside. Some of the fish wasn't fresh. The yoghurt at the breakfast buffet also often had a sting. Overall, no recommendation from me.

Top hotel. Good location. Everyone was nice and polite. Food good and varied.It's just stupid that some guests don't know how to behave.Television and radio also work great, but that's not the case everywhere.And the same applies to the bathroom.
