We stayed in Borkum for 5 days and felt very comfortable here. Well-kept rooms, delicious breakfast and particularly delicious blueberry muffins. Very nice staff, will definitely come back next time you visit

Booked four nights in room 3, which is very spacious. Everything was very clean, large bathroom, large terrace. Very, very friendly staff. Centrally located, bike rental next door. Small kitchen with refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and sink. Two TVs, free WiFi. Everything great. Keep it up!

Very nice, cozy hotel. Ms. Fiegel and her employees are totally friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom is large and has enough storage space. The breakfast buffet is varied and beautifully prepared.Thank you again, we'll be happy to come back

We (late 50s) stayed at Tide42 for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, with a balcony, very clean and well thought out. There is plenty of storage space in the bathroom, which is extremely practical.The breakfast buffet was very tasty, many different types of bread and rolls, scrambled eggs and fried eggs were freshly prepared.Our host, Ms. Fiegel, took great care of us with her warm manner. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.Thanks for the nice time.

We were on the island for five days. We really liked it in the Tide 42. The room with bathroom and small kitchenette is very well maintained and comfortably furnished, the balcony is large and sunny facing south. The location of the hotel is quiet and yet super central, the staff are very friendly 😊

We felt very comfortable and everything was to our satisfaction!! We had the suite on the ground floor.We would love to come back 😊Small drawback, the reception in the breakfast room was very annoying and the breakfast was a bit overpriced. But Ms. Michaela Fiegel was very helpful and very friendly.

For us, a married couple in our 60s - but in our heads around 30... the wind has once again taken us to Borkum. It should be over New Year's Eve. Central and yet quiet, this time with breakfast but not an 18-20sqm room… We then found the Tide42. After we hesitated, suite 7 was already gone, so we booked room 5.Contacted us and received a quick response, which was the case with every question. Our questions were answered competently but with the necessary warmth at any time. Thank you to Ms. Fiegel and her employees.Room 5 is 31sqm, yes, it could be furnished differently and also a little brighter, the renovation is planned and should make the room more comfortable. We still really liked it, there is always something to improve. The beds were good, after two herniated discs I can judge that well, I slept very well, also because the room is very quiet. The breakfast was so good that you can happily pay the €16.50 before the VAT increase, all your wishes are fulfilled and there is no overloaded buffet on offer where a lot of things are thrown away or end up in the same place the next day.My conclusion; If the wind takes you to Borkum, stop by Tide42 and let yourself be looked after. We would like to come back and say; Hello, hello and see you soon!

(2021) Never again - alternative to holiday apartments - never!- Location without breakfast- Breakfast price on top in another location that was under construction when we stayed- We were given a city map (with a cross) showing where we could have breakfast- no alternative to a holiday apartment- Borkum has a breakfast problem - people wander around on the streets every morning to find a location for breakfast 😂- book a holiday apartment with a kitchen (independent) or a real hotel

Good morning,I came across this little hotel by chance - I've been to the island several times and am thrilled to be "stranded" at Tide 42!A great, lovingly furnished small hotel with a cozy atmosphere.Not far from the beach and in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone, it is in a quiet location and therefore offers everything you need to relax.You have the choice to enjoy a hearty breakfast in the hotelor to use the well-designed kitchenette in the rooms to have breakfast on the balcony in the morning or to end the day in the evening with a well-chilled “good night drink”.What more do you want?!In addition, everything is very clean. The rooms are cleaned every 2 days - towels can also be changed on request as usual. Tip top!I also think the bike shelter is great, where you can stay dry even in bad weather.You will be greeted in a friendly manner and familiarized with everything you need.In my opinion, very, very high praise to Tide 42!I can only recommend it.You are great! Keep it up!Thank you for letting me be a guest!I will gladly come again!

The hotel is centrally located. The location is actually very quiet. However, we got a suit on the ground floor, which is directly adjacent to the breakfast room. That's why it was quite loud in the morning.I definitely cannot recommend the “suit” room number 5. As another guest has already described, it is a small, dark room.It should also be mentioned that the small hallway that leads to the room smells so much like garbage that it is very unpleasant. According to the escape plan, it is the disposal room. Luckily the smell didn't come in through the room door.There was a small kitchen in the room with a sink, dishes and a large refrigerator. Unfortunately the tea towels weren't changed once during the week.
