Landgasthof Hotel Rose

Friends from Germany recommended this place. A friend's husband is German, and his mother often visits this place, as it has the best German cuisine. The place is very nice, there is a small parking lot. The restaurant has a nice cook and a girl at the cash register (his wife), as friends told us. A small restaurant, there is also a hotel. My wife and I ordered: 250 ml of dry red wine, two glasses of beer for 0.33 each (dinkelacker), cordon-bleu mit Bratkartoffeln und gemischtem Salat, wienerschnitzel mit buntem Salattelle. The price for everything is 63.50 euros. (I don’t dare to evaluate whether it’s expensive or not, but by the standards of Montenegro and Belarus, where I’m from, it’s very expensive, but for living in Germany, it’s probably okay). Cordon-bleu mit Bratkartoffeln und gemischtem Salat is a schnitzel, inside with ham and cheese, served with a very tasty salad and fried potatoes. A friend ordered risotto with fish, I don’t know the name of the dish) It’s difficult to evaluate the dishes objectively, German cuisine is probably not my thing, but there was nothing special about the schnitzels. In addition, they were very salty. My friend's risotto was so salty that no one could eat it. As for the atmosphere, it’s hard to say, no one spoke English, there was no music, not even German chanson, as is usually the case, there was no one there except elderly people. I don’t recommend it for visiting, although I could be wrong, maybe someone will like it because of the atmosphere and will have luck with the dishes. There is a good selection of desserts, but we didn't try them.

Rooms are simple but clean and adequately equipped. Excellent price-performance ratio and very tasty cuisine with very friendly staff. Important note table reservation. Lots of local regulars. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

No "BITTE NICHT STÖREN" tag, even though I reported this morning that there was no need to clean my room, someone was here anyway. I had the radiators turned up to 5 (it's still cold), but when, after over 12 hours of working outside in the rain, you want to take a shower in a warm bathroom and have warmth in the room, you turn the radiators down to 2. As for breakfast, it's a tragedy, a separate slice of ham and cheese . Cheese several days after the expiry date. There's nothing to choose from. Parking is practically non-existent, unless someone has SMART.

Went there for lunch, it was very tasty and the price was also great. Service was also very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed and ate here for the second time in October 2023. I had a single room which was very spacious, clean and tidy. The bathroom was very large and in tip top order. The room was cleaned every day. WiFi is a bit slow but available. Also satellite TV. The breakfast was always good and plentiful but without fish. Which is completely ok for me. If requested, there was always egg in all variations. In the restaurant with a clear menu, which I think is very good, there are also daily seasonal menu offerings. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes excellent. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful. For me, the Landgasthof Rose is a clear recommendation. Always my pleasure.

Very tasty lunch!! We had pork fillet with Calvados sauce, spaetzle and mixed salad. The Bavarian cream with fruit also looked very good. If it fits, we'll come back soon.

I cannot rate the hotel, but I am extremely satisfied with the restaurant. Homely, friendly atmosphere and excellent food.
