We spent one night there with our child.The furniture in the rooms is very old! From lamps to the bed, cupboard and tables. Too much wood and well… bathtubs with a “retro gluing process” should no longer be standard these days. Not hygienic.The door handles on the room entrance door and on the toilet door almost come towards you.The breakfast is very very simple and simple.TV with very few channels as all are not available. RTL, Pro7 not available. We are not in Germany...Good for one night if you have few demands, nothing more!Everything was very clean! Staff nice. Free parking behind the hotel if not full.

We spontaneously had to find a room in Frankenthal. This was €184 for two nights (double room) left over (without breakfast). Reception and cleaning lady very friendly, but the rooms: ancient furniture, almost had the door handle of the bathroom and room in my hand, toilet seat wobbles, the mattresses and pillows are terrible (need to change them), TV big, but no ProSieben or RTL or so, super noisy and musty. Despite the sign saying “clean the room” because we needed new towels, no one came for half the day. A bit disappointed for the price.

I stayed at Filling for 2 nights including breakfast.The room is very simply furnished. Pillows and duvet were clean and so was the bed sheet. The bathroom was new and also clean. There are windows for ventilation. Shower not at ground level. There are signs everywhere in the hallway that there is silence after 10 p.m.The service person at breakfast was very nice and responded to my wishes. The honeydew melon on the buffet was cut into large thick pieces. I would have liked it to be a little different. There were rolls, packaged bread, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs. Coffee and tea water in jugs and orange juice and water with lemon slices in it. There was also cheese and sausage and sliced cucumber. Salt and pepper. Different types of muesli were also available.

The worst hotel I've stayed in so far. All the keys were given to the first of 4 people who arrived at the hotel, that's not possible. Therefore, searching for the keys was very confusing and time-consuming. Apart from that, a key was missing because the room that was supposed to be reserved was not reserved. There was a lot of back and forth until someone in the group took a single room instead that happened to be free so that we could go into the couple's room that is in the guest house. Both buildings are mainly furnished with old, unsightly and mixed-color furniture and styles. It would be nicer if you decided on a style and a few basic colors and modernized it. We've paid just as much for much nicer hotels.For whatever reason, the sink is in the bedroom, the pillows are so soft you think you don't have any, the walls aren't soundproofed so you hear a lot from outside, there's no mini fridge. If 1 night in this hotel costs 40€ it's completely understandable and you don't expect much, but you get so much more elsewhere for the same price we had to pay.Positive: There is WiFi, the breakfast was okay and the woman at the reception at breakfast time was very friendly.

Clean and convenient place to stay in Frankenthal. Host (Matthias) was very hospitable and clearly communicated how I should enter the hotel and get to my room as a late arrival. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Price/performance TOP, good quick connection to Mannheim, super accommodating: I forgot my pillow at the hotel. Was sent to me free of charge without any problem. TOP. Again any time.

I traveled from Switzerland and spent 1 night here.Unfortunately I didn't get what I booked and was promised to me. So I had to sleep in a single bed, which only gave me 2 hours of sleep.It was not possible to change rooms at check-in because the hotel was fully booked.Unfortunately there was no staff on site when I checked out, so I had to write an email to which I have not received a response to date.The hotel is definitely left in the 80s. This applies to the entire location, as well as to the breakfast (buffet). To charge €16 for this is a bit cheeky.At least kettles would be appropriate in the rooms. Furthermore, there is definitely no way to cool food or drinks.Especially since the restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday and you didn't even have the opportunity to have a drink.Maybe a coffee machine would also be appropriate.This house is extremely noisy.Parking is also not ideal. In the evening I had to drive around the block countless times without finding anything in the immediate vicinity.Only 3 points were positive: my room was 100% clean and had a small roof terrace. The location is also convenient.Conclusion: If you have zero to almost no demands, you can check in here.

I was spontaneously looking for a room, centrally located in Frankenthal. The condition was: bathroom in the room. The location is great and the reception is friendly. I was accommodated in the annex building about 150 m from the main house. Room 1a. The pictures don't show the true charm of the room, very spartan. It was a very noisy room, located directly on the street and poorly soundproofed. Not for light sleepers. You can hear everyone who walks past this room. The snoring could be heard from the next room. Cleanliness and slight defects (toilet lid is loose) and the room staff wanted to clean the room early at 8 a.m. Of the two nights I paid for, I was only there for one night. The breakfast buffet the next morning was OK. The water from the shower had to run for a long time until warm water finally came. TV was in the room and there was WiFi.I don't recommend this room.I haven't slept so badly in a long time.

This hotel can be recommended in every respect. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always tries to fulfill all of the guests' wishes. The rooms are large and very clean. Free WiFi and TV are a given. The breakfast buffet is varied and you have breakfast in a very nice dining room. The hotel is located in the center of the city and ideally located for day trips in the area.

We stayed in the guest house (about 100 m from the main house). The room was spacious, the beds were good, the shower water was rather lukewarm with a cooling tendency! Otherwise it was OK for one night with breakfast. The sliding door (room 4) to the shower should be urgently cleaned on the shower side! Of course, this only works if you sit on the toilet and then close the door, as there is certainly no room to close the door while standing in front of the toilet because there is simply no space. So dear cleaning staff! Get in there, put the toilet seat down, sit down, close the door and wipe as much as you can. There are actually supposed to be people who close the door when they go to the toilet! Oh yes! Another little thing! A double room generally includes 2 sets of towels.
