Access by LKV as in the photos. No different. Road with no entry. And uphill through the gate. Loading ok. Quick and efficient. I recommend

We were there at the beginning of March for a wine tasting - at the winery in Freinsheim itself; The location has now been eliminated from Google Maps, hence the allocation of the review here.As usual, the wines were very good and individual - the service was very nice and relaxed, but did not differentiate itself from other wineries. It was particularly noticeable in comparison to others with big names: 1) The wine tasting seemed generic and inconsequential. You could have proactively given more information, tried to determine individual needs and thus gotten more out of people - others can do that too. 2) Most of it was sold out - it was the same for some others, but not for all of them and certainly not to the same extent. 3) Despite all the effort and high-quality results, Rings now seems overpriced. Result: Unlike the competition, we got through it quickly, bought surprisingly little and moved on uninspired. My guess is that this won't bother Rings much due to the high demand and the positioning it has achieved after 20 years of great development. Customers who enthusiastically bought the cross for 40 euros and later for 50 euros over many years and can no longer get it except from Lobenberg, but perhaps no longer want it for 60 euros, are apparently no longer the target group. After 10 years, I will therefore be removing Rings from my list of must-do wineries for visiting the Palatinate. It's a shame, it used to be always worth a visit.
