Unfortunately we were unlucky. The room we booked was booked twice so we had to move into another one. To do this we first had to call the landlady. After a long time back and forth, we agreed on a cozy room on the ground floor. Unfortunately we had no hot water in the morning.All employees tried very hard. The breakfast was sufficient but not exceptional. Simple sausage, no fruit salad or cake, croissants etc.Eggs and sausage were brought to the table.The ambience of the house is very nice and the fact that you can sit down at a comfortable table outside the rooms at any time.Due to the age of the house, it is rather noisy when someone above you comes home at 3 a.m.

A beautiful old house with a cozy communal area inside. The kitchen was well equipped so you could make tea or coffee, etc. was quite possible.Unfortunately, no one was there upon arrival. Only an email with details to enter and find the key to your room.We thought that was a loss because you couldn't ask something personal.Early the next morning there was a lot of stumbling around in the kitchen, so there was no chance of sleeping in.

We stayed here with our dogs and really enjoyed it. The room was good and very quiet! The breakfast was really great. The ladies were very nice and, upon request, breakfast was prepared for us earlier than possible on the weekend. We would come here again and again. Only recommended.

Beautiful half-timbered house from the 18th century which has been lovingly restored and renovated. The room was great, in our case the bathroom was in the hallway, the other rooms have the bathroom integrated into the room. The operator was very nice and the breakfast was sufficient. The Stevenson House is a nearly 300-year-old treasure in the old town of Stadt Oberderdingen. Yes, the little medieval town of Oberderdingen officially became a city just a few weeks before we arrived. But you wouldn't know it on the back street just off the main thoroughfare of Oberderdingen's old town. The area is a treasure trove of half-timbered homes that seem frozen in time. Just a block away is the town market and Amhof (site of the village - now city - hall) and buildings dating back to the 12th century). One site is the infamous Witches Tower where victims of the witch hunts were held for trial.Our hosts treated us to homemade breakfasts and even gave us a peek at the staff quarters to see the construction of this historic structure. Visiting Oberderdingen was a delight as we visited my family's ancestral home and vineyards. And the Stevenson House was a perfect immersion into the local culture.

Very, very nice hosts, a good breakfast and a charming house. You can tell how much love the house was restored and the rooms were furnished with.Highly recommended - even if the guest “in the room above” can sometimes be heard…they are just old false ceilings…

Cozy B&B, but the finishing of the rooms is not entirely successful. The lighting is austere and does not fully work. There is no soap in the shower. The internet (wifi) also does not always work and the breakfast is tasty but limited and somewhat measured. Too bad, because the sandwiches, for example, are very tasty! This makes me doubt whether the prices for the rooms are justified. After all, these come quite close to hotel rooms and you expect a little more. We were satisfied with our stay, because we visited the Tripsdrill amusement park nearby, but it is not entirely certain whether we would immediately book here again for our next stay. The expectations were not immediately met.
