Unfortunately the room did not meet my expectations. The bathroom had mold, the floors were dirty, the mattress was worn out and the furnishings were overall very sparse and outdated.The entire floor in the room squeaked and you could hear everything that happened in the hallway.The friendly staff at reception should be highlighted positively.The breakfast was OK and, as far as you could tell, freshly prepared, but many of the plates were dirty.I complained about the dirty plates to an employee, but he didn't speak German and simply put them back haphazardly.However, the hotel is in a super central location and the beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

An old house with appropriate interior design. Old!There are also old carpets that are very dirty.We arrived as a couple and booked a small double room. When we arrived, we had to wait 4 hours until we could finally get to the room.Here's the next problem. The room was set up as a single room. After a short request, a duvet and towels were added.Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't that nice either. Mold on the shower door and the toilet lid and the seat were yellowed. Disgusting.The ventilation didn't work either. Everything in the haze after a shower. I don't even want to talk about smells.When we went to bed in the evening we wanted to turn on the night light/table lamp, but the light was broken. So go to bed in the dark.The room was very noisy (at 7 a.m. the cleaning staff were talking loudly about private matters.) in front of the room door. And the room was difficult to darken too!Breakfast was plentiful and okay. But not outstanding either. Everything okay . Staff was nice.We would not book this hotel again and would not recommend it. Our opinion!The hotel did not have a positive influence on our short trip to Borkum. Unfortunately.Price performance is not right either.

We had a family room, everything was great, friendly welcome. Unfortunately the single room was missing a chair and a mirror. Otherwise it's right on the pedestrian zone so it's a little louder at night too.

The hotel met my expectations. I had a single room that was quite small, but was sufficient for me. Breakfast buffet was excellent.If I had to describe a shortcoming, it would be the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. But it didn't bother me too much.The contact with the employees was very warm.I will gladly come again.

Well located at the end of Bismarckstrasse. Great service and very good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Our double room (large) faced the courtyard and was clean and quiet. The bathroom was very new and spacious

Price performance is right.The carpet is getting old. It's a shame that there was no refrigerator in the room.Best location.At the weekend you can hear music from the disco there. That's what you're central to.

The Hotel Atlantic is very centrally located and directly at the island train station.Unfortunately, the carpet in the stairwell is very old. I had my room on the 2nd floor and the carpet was stained. There was no hairdryer in the room but a hairdryer could be borrowed free of charge upon request at reception. The breakfast is varied and tasty. The service in the breakfast area is very friendly and accommodating.The hotel was equipped with fire protection stairs during my vacation. Unfortunately, access to my room was temporarily blocked because of this. I would like to note that the overhead door locking system was quite annoying, making it impossible to open and close the door quickly. In addition, the hallway on the 2nd floor was very narrow and narrow, so that it was difficult to enter the room with a trolley, let alone simply not suitable for older people with walkers. The majority of the audience was in the over 65 age group. In an emergency situation, you don't want to imagine a quick evacuation of people with walking difficulties using the fire stairs.Unfortunately there is no 24 hour reception. There is only an emergency number on the counter.

Top hotel of older design (it is constantly being renovated and innovated) in a prime location, spacious rooms, spotlessly clean with the most brilliant breakfast that leaves nothing to be missed - the extremely friendly service staff contribute to the ultimate enjoyment!The prices for this cozy house are more than reasonable, booking and processing are completely uncomplicated...; “Feel-good aroma” across the board; again and again….., highly recommended!

I had a single room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately there is no hairdryer there. Otherwise I can only say good things. The room was very clean, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast buffet was rich, varied and delicious!!!The hotel is very centrally located. Close to the train station and also very close to the beach

The arrival was a bit stupid because the reception wasn't manned so late and hardly anyone knew where to get the key. Staff at breakfast and at reception were very nice.I would be happy to come back at any time
