We wanted to spend the turn of the year 2019/2020 in the holiday apartment. When we arrived, the landlords were not in the house but on holiday in Greece. Her parents and daughter welcomed us warmly and registered us properly. The apartment was shown to us by our daughter. The offered apartment suddenly became two because a bedroom that belonged to the apartment on the upper floor was occupied by someone else. So we were assigned another apartment in the basement. The first problem we noticed was that the TV in the upstairs shared apartment didn't work. The landlady's father then patiently tried, together with my husband, to get the television to work for about 2 hours. But despite eventually replacing the device, that didn't work. Luckily my daughter had a TV fire stick with her and thanks to the landlady's helpful daughter, who gave us WiFi access, we were still able to use the TV. But that was just the beginning...When we wanted to use the kitchen on the upper floor, the misery continued...I have never seen such a dirty kitchen in an apartment! The floor stuck in the corner where the trash can stood with a dirty lid, and a dried plant in the flower pot additionally decorated this corner. The cupboard in the kitchen on the upper floor where the TV was located was so dirty inside that we didn't want to put anything in there.A moldy faucet, all the dishes and cutlery, which only consisted of 2 knives, 3 forks and several tablespoons, were so dirty that I had to wash all the dishes, such as plates, cups, glasses, pots and pans and the cutlery by hand and had to clean the sink! We then used the missing cutlery and a kettlehave to get the apartment in the basement. The next sight we saw was another dirty kitchen. The stove tops there were just like in the apartment on the upper floor with a thick burnt crust, the oven, like in the apartment on the upper floor, was just as sticky and had burnt fat. The kitchen appliances there (coffee maker and kettle) were dirty and could not be used without me cleaning them first. The extractor hoods in both of your kitchens were sticky with grease and dirt. They haven't been cleaned for a long time. That was really disgusting! It wasn't just the kitchenette on the upper floor that was moldy. The wall in the bathroom was also heavily moldy. A health risk not just for allergy sufferers! The door of the apartment entrance on the upper floor was poorly covered with a paper foil, which no longer held up on the second day and therefore fell down. The room windows were only partially equipped with curtains. Since the entire upper balcony and roof structure were equipped with fairy lights, it was bright as day in all rooms all night long. The children's travel cot offered was full of cobwebs and we would have had to clean it before using it, but thank God we didn't have to because my daughter had fortunately brought her own from home. But the biggest risks were the wall sockets in the rooms of the two apartments on the basement and upper floor. Almost every room had loose sockets that were open and half hanging out of the wall and had missing protective covers. Let alone that they were equipped with child locks. Dangerous to life!!! Irresponsible for a stay with our 2 year old and 6 year old grandchildren - a NO GO!!!We booked the apartment by January 2nd, 2020 and already paid upon arrival. But for the reasons mentioned, we decided to leave early on December 30, 2019. From our point of view, these conditions did not allow us to continue staying in this house.
