The Lindenhof is located right next to the dam wall, has a pretty little garden and when it's busy it also seems to be sold out of a small house. That was today, April 7th. understandably still closed.Since the weather is summery today, there is still a lot of activity, which meant that the waitress outside (a smaller, strong, middle-aged lady) unfortunately seemed very overwhelmed and was therefore very unfriendly.Contrary to the entrance sign “Welcome”, you weren’t given a warm welcome at all.In fact, we had to be told twice in an impossible and loud tone not to sit at the table until she had cleared and wiped. Why you can't do this when the guest is sitting is beyond my understanding. This reminds me of the “good old days” of the “You will be placed” boards in our “good old” GDR.Well anyway, finally a young girl came with a tablet and a rag and did the little job. When the waitress came back afterwards, she unfortunately had to repeat the same litany again. The rest followed a similar pattern but at least the plum cake with shortcrust pastry base and sprinkles was very tasty. We preferred not to ask whether it was homemade, as mentioned, unfortunately you didn't feel very welcome.

We were able to enjoy our lunch today in a magical ambience. The price-performance ratio is right at the Lindenhof. Super delicious food and very warm hospitality. Thank you dear team at the Lindenhof restaurant

After our hike around the dam, we spontaneously stopped at the Lindenhof and were thrilled. The service was super nice and quick, the food was fresh and tasty. In the sunshine and with a view of the dam, a wonderful place.We'll definitely be back.

If you like good home cooking, the Lindenhof is highly recommended. The service was great, the food was plentiful and the price was absolutely fair. You should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. We'll definitely be back.👍
