Went for lunch on September 16, 2024 in a cozy restaurant, service was friendly, but we were disappointed with the food, we ordered garlic soup with crotons but had pieces of bread in it, then I ordered schnitzel with croquettes but potato wedges were served, the fried potatoes were burnt. 🤔🤔🤔Thinking about whether we visit the restaurant again.

We went to the restaurant for dinner and it was just great. On Tuesday there is an extra schnitzel menu with prices ranging from €13 to €16. The food was very good, everything was freshly made and large portions. With his good mood and very courteous behavior, the waiter is definitely a reason to come back there. Definitely recommended for anyone traveling in Upper Lusatia. There is also a guesthouse there but I can't say anything about it.

We felt really comfortable. The rooms are good and, above all, you can sleep well in the beds. Cozy beer garden and the food is a treat for the palate. We'd love to come back. Best regards from Lower Saxony from the Kaufmanns

We were very happy with our stay here. The rooms are quaint but cozy, the bathroom is spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly. WiFi is available, but not so good on the upper floor. But you don't have to be online all the time ;) Breakfast is small but nice. Completely sufficient for us. Thank you!

The hotel and rooms are a bit old. Cleanliness was good and the price was also okay. WiFi was not available on the upper floor. Breakfast was sufficient, but you should also fill up the empty plates.

The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Only the mattresses on the beds are getting old. The service is familiar and friendly. Upper Lusatia is always worth a visit. Great landscape.

I stayed there for one night as a guest on business. Rooms were clean, bed was OK. Everything very rustic. Breakfast was OK, some regional products. Price performance OK. Service staff friendly. Furniture felt a bit like traveling back in time to the 90s. Inn with 100% village character charm. I give four stars.

Since I'm not allowed to stop here for the first time... here's a summary... the Kretscham stands for reliability in both quality (standards) and quantity... The gastronomy is running well, moderate prices for food and drinks but also for the rooms are rounded off by uncomplicated service. There are enough parking spaces available and a flexible staff creates everything from breakfast to late dinner...from small celebrations to individual menus, delicacies and of course several types of beer etc. Let's hope that German gastronomy is not just nearby Poland continues to work so well.

I stayed at Kretscham Schönbach for two nights for work. The inn is located at the entrance to the town, right next to the town's church.The restaurant is only staffed to a limited extent and therefore check-in is only possible at these times. The staff is friendly and check-in and check-out are unproblematic. The rooms are a bit old but well maintained and clean. Modernization would be good for the inn. Compared to surrounding restaurants, the restaurant is open several days a week and the home-style cuisine is available at moderate prices. The breakfast buffet has a small selection to suit every taste.All in all ok, but wouldn't be my first choice for an overnight stay.
