Nice big and clean rooms. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The location is quietly located next to the city park directly on the Neisse. The sauna area looks very appealing. The stay was very pleasant.Any time.

A booking from today to tomorrow brought us to the Parkhotel Görlitz. Our room on the 4th floor with a park view was large. However, you couldn't sit comfortably in the two upholstered chairs available. However, the dark wallpaper on 3 room walls and in the corridor makes it a bit oppressive and dark. It was also a bit noisy, you could hear everything in the hallway outside. It was very good that there was a kettle with coffee and tea facilities in the room. However, the kettle could use some cleaning/descaling. The fly protection on the window is just as commendable. We slept well in the beds.Unfortunately, contrary to the room description, there was no mini fridge. Just a cupboard with ventilation holes where the small cold dispenser apparently used to be. It's a shame that this hasn't been updated in the room description.Sockets are a rarity, in the bathroom, in the room and on the bed anyway. As an experienced hotel guest, you have multiple distributors in your luggage so that you can charge your devices. The cleaners could also remove dust from the bedside lamp holders. And remove the cobwebs floating on the ceiling above me.The fan in the bathroom, which always rumbles when you turn on the light, was extremely loud. That's nothing for the night. As an experienced hotel guest, you always have a motion detector lamp with you if you want to go to the bathroom without the loud noises. The bathroom floor was cold. Apart from a radiant heater lamp on the ceiling, there was no heating option, for example to dry the wet towels. The integrated shower in the bathtub is a challenge, especially for older guests. Since the glass splashback is rigid and cannot be moved, there is hardly any normal way to turn off the shower head in order to rinse out the tub before showering. You first have to get into the tub and remove the shower head. And when you then want to open the tap, you're actually still standing in the bathtub... So very complicated for the average consumer. The bathtub is also very slippery and the anti-slip parts are really worn out.The cleanliness in the bathroom left a lot to be desired: the hairdryer holder had probably not been cleaned for weeks. There were still traces of the previous guest in the toilet. As a guest, you should be rewarded for opting out of daily room cleaning. After all, you paid for the room cleaning, and if you as a guest cancel it, recognition would be commendable. As an example, in other hotels a small surprise is hung on the room door early on.Whether the lamps in the park really have to be on all night is a matter of debate. From an energetic point of view, questionable, and certainly not good for the animals? The flood of lamps in the room doesn't bother you at night because you can close the opaque curtains. When the curtains are open, the lamps conjure up some beautiful patterns on the ceiling. The price for the parking space in the underground car park was okay. Especially since the underground car park was secured several times and not every visitor can get in and out without proof. The breakfast buffet was very good (except that the eggs were cold). We found everything we needed to start the day. And extra requests (boiling water because it wasn't ready at the tea point, a pot of hot milk) were immediately fulfilled by the friendly service. However: on the last day we stood in front of the breakfast room at 6:30 a.m. sharp. When checking in we were told: Breakfast every day from 6:30 a.m. And the big sign also pointed out: daily from 6:30 a.m.But at the reception they said: on weekends only from 7 a.m.This final impression of the hotel was very negative.

Smooth 5 stars❗Perfect. Also P/L.Location in particular. Especially October - foliage coloring right in front of Zummerfenster + gladly again🫶Neiße - river right in front of the hotel door! And the pedestrian bridge about 400 m along the river.Obermarkt also within walking distance.

Reasonable hotel with large and functionally furnished rooms and bathrooms. Everything is no longer the latest but in good shape.Unfortunately, in recent months the cleanliness has left something to be desired, but this problem is known and is being discussed with those responsible. The breakfast offers a large and good selection of cold and warm dishes. The location is ideal. A few minutes from the old town, directly on the Neisse. Zgorzelec in Poland, where you can eat well and cheaply, is a stone's throw away.

We were just on a short vacation in Görlitz. Beautiful old town and the hotel is perfectly located in a quiet location. However, I have to say that 4 stars superior took a while to arrive.Breakfast was a bit meager and mostly empty. Rolls came after a long time. You don't even get assigned a seat or even brought coffee as usual. That should already be there. The sauna always had no towels and when you asked, they just said that many people had already had a sauna before!! Clear??There was no sign of drinks in the sauna either? It's a shame actually. The kettle in the room looked really bad. Immediately criticized and after three hours asked when he was coming - the answer was that everyone looked like that.At least there were 3 vouchers for the bar as compensation.Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But you should work on the 4 star concept. There are much better hotels for less money.

Very nice hotel, rooms and breakfast great. The only drawback was that the sauna was too small for such a large hotel.

Disappointing stay - not worth 4 starsUnfortunately my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was dusty when I arrived, giving an unpleasant feeling of uncleanliness. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, which greatly affected the comfort. A used coffee cup that was left on the table the day before was not put away, indicating a lack of care in room service. The extremely loud doors in the hotel were particularly annoying, as they kept waking you up. The bathroom was also very dusty and in no way met the expectations of a 4-star hotel.Overall, this hotel definitely doesn't deserve its 4 stars. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

We were allowed to spend 2 nights with them. All of our wishes were fulfilled, especially Ms. Schubert in service was so nice and helpful and was always very friendly. But also the bartender, despite so many guests, he was so accommodating and made his mixed drinks with so much love Prepared, you could tell he had a lot of fun with his work. We were absolutely satisfied and will recommend it to others. Four of us were with you from September 26th to September 28th, 2024. Family Stahr and Ehling (birthday child)
