We stayed at the guesthouse with our grandchildren for a few days in mid-October 24. The guesthouse is very family-friendly, the boss and the good soul of the house are very nice. There are many short hiking opportunities, playgrounds, etc., especially for small children. Ideal for self-catering. Very good recommendation for young and old.

Why not. It's rare to get a room in this guesthouse. Unfortunately, currently no breakfast. But there is a beautiful sun terrace and a well-equipped breakfast room that you can use for self-catering and a unique environment for nature lovers who want to climb a little strenuously to relatively low altitudes or who otherwise want to conquer the interesting cities in Upper Lusatia: Bautzen, Zittau, Görlitz, Löbau, etc. You can also get to the Czech Republic in just a few minutes, either as a hiker or by car. Jonsdorf still has a lot of half-timbered houses. This architecture only exists in the border triangle. Anyone who knows the history of the Silesian weavers' revolt also knows why the half-timbered houses had this extraordinary architecture: At that time, the weavers still worked in the home office. The loom was in the largest room of the house. This room had to be protected against the vibrations of the loom using a special wooden construction (a kind of framework). This type of work was pure exploitation including child labor. There is also a graphic cycle by Käthe Kollwitz about the weaver revolt.

Always nice even without breakfast. It's well organized, there are dishes and you can still use the breakfast room.Rooms are great, clean and nicely decorated.

Magical guesthouse in the wonderfully idyllic Jonsdorf. The rooms are lovingly furnished and the whole house shows a lot of taste.Speaking of taste - the breakfast is absolutely top notch. Every wish is fulfilled here and the presentation is also a highlight.The whole thing is rounded off by the excellent attention of the young man who takes care of the breakfast - big praise and thank you very much again!We would love to come back 🙂

Nice little cozy guesthouse in a half-timbered house with a terrace to sit outside after the hike. Quietly located and easy to reach by car or bus. Stop almost in front of the door. Ideal starting point for hikes.

I planned my short vacation spontaneously and came across this great guesthouse by chance. I read the very good reviews and have to say, I agree with everything! Here you are welcomed with a smile, the hospitality is great and it was just all around nice! The rooms are lovingly furnished and the breakfast for a small extra charge was a dream. Tailored to every wish, you could choose what you wanted. Simply great!Unfortunately I'm back home today, but I'll definitely be back!Thanks for the nice time!

Very nice place.The rooms are lovingly and comfortably furnished. In the evening you can sit on a sun terrace. Glasses for drinks are available. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and hiking trails start right outside the door.I particularly liked the breakfast. The rolls were warm and the eggs were cooked to perfection.
