The hotel is beautifully located on the edge of the forest. The rooms are clean and well maintained.The staff and the boss are very nice. The kitchen is also fine. All dishes tasted good. The breakfast was also very good. A bit of everything.

We can definitely recommend this hotel. Very nicely located in the forest, but also not far from the town center and the castle on foot. In front of the hotel you have a very nice view of the castle. Not far from the hotel to the old ski jump.Free Wi-Fi and parking, sauna available. Very tastefully designed in the entrance area. Very friendly staff. Really very good food. Prices for dinner are absolutely fine. Everything in the room was very clean. Room service very good. The rooms are a bit old. BUT it was absolutely fine. The cheap room price is important. We were in nature all day so this wasn't important to us.Many thanks to the hotel.

Location is beautiful, right on the edge of the forest of Germany's smallest mountains.Rooms are clean, but a bit older.Service was good and breakfast was tasty and sufficient.Stayed in the hotel for two nights over the weekend because of the O-See Ultra Trail 🏨.

Our accommodation was called an apartment. It consisted of two bedrooms and a living room. The wet room is immediately adjacent to a bedroom and cannot be accessed by the user of the second bedroom without being disturbed.Our rooms had their best days behind them. Our accommodation was clean, but the carpet was stained. The sofa was completely worn out. It was quite good to sleep in the bed. Unfortunately, the...Raise the headboard and remove the slats.The only positive thing is that the hotel is located in the middle of wonderful nature.

Very friendly staff and boss, helpful, accommodating, for example I was very hungry too early in the morning, the buffet wasn't open yet, but they gave me a pot of coffee and let me eat the food, as a matter of course.Room good, clean, bed excellent.Cool even in the heat, the nearby forest makes it possible.Price for Oyblin, unusually low, as a motorcyclist traveling alone I paid €66 including breakfast. There are plenty of parking spaces and garages.All in all: 👌

We have been coming there for several years and we always find it pleasant and relaxing.All the employees are very nice and friendly, and the boss of the house, Hubertus, also approaches the guests and creates a good atmosphere.The rooms are very clean, tidy, and the food was also good.It's difficult to do justice to everyone these days, so some people should think about that.All we can say is, great relaxation!Thanks for that, see you again soon.

Since the inns in the town of Oybin are closed on Monday/Tuesday evenings, we had dinner there and were served very well. Thanks for that... I also forgot my sunglasses and they were at the reception ready to be picked up the next morning. A big THANK YOU for that too

We only stayed here for one night while passing through. Unfortunately, we didn't get here until around 9:30 p.m., so we can't say anything about the restaurant, but we were given a very friendly welcome by the host at the reception. He even remembered my dog's name and later addressed him by the same. The topics we briefly talked about were also entertaining. Very nice personal atmosphere! The hotel is perhaps a bit old, but that didn't bother us at all. Very large, spacious room and wonderful peace, as if you were sleeping in the middle of nature. The bed was also very comfortable. I would come here again at any time and recommend it to others.

In itself a very nice location, there is a lot within walking distance.The hotel is older but still beautifully wooded.The rooms are getting old but everything is functional and clean.A few little things were missing, such as a second wastebasket (not just in the bathroom), socket fuses for small children and a hairdryer or, as in the family room, a wardrobe or at least hooks.Breakfast is completely okay and sufficient and very nice service.Dinner is also good depending on your taste, of course, acceptable for us and generous portions.The evening waiter could show a little more joy in his work.Otherwise the staff was very friendly and loved children.The welcome of four-legged friends is also commendable; despite the fact that there were dogs in the rooms, you don't smell anything, on the contrary, there is a very pleasant breeze.Dogs are generally welcome in town and are allowed into restaurants.We enjoyed our vacation and are satisfied.

I can't really recommend the hotel in Oybin, but it can only be used for a short overnight stay as part of a hiking holiday...The receptionist was unfriendly. The rooms were all full of GDR charm and often there was no hot water available. The curtains to darken the room were also inadequate.The only positive thing that can be mentioned is the breakfast. The employee there was also very accommodating.

The location by the forest is great. It is really incomparable to the location of the small mountain range.The house is of course getting old, and there is no hiding it. Everything is a bit old-fashioned, a bit of a journey into the past, almost a bit of GDR charm. The furniture is sparse, but the mattresses are new, good and of high quality. And the rooms are very spacious, especially the family rooms and suites, lots of space!But that doesn't change the fact that the employees are very committed to giving the house a homely charm: there is a nice breakfast, there are often open-air barbecues, and great dancing. You can also celebrate here.In recent years the inner courtyard has become more and more beautiful.Of course there is also internet (which is not a given in the middle of the rocky world), and of course it is clean too.We have liked it for many years. And even if the house has retained its style for many years - criticizing that is one-sided. In the Black Forest, the Harz or the Heath, we found really shabby "boxes" that still commanded high prices.The house benefits more and more from the fact that it is located in the border triangle. You meet guests from the Czech Republic as well as Poland, but also Bavaria and Swabians. Especially tour groups who want to hike - and in just three steps you are directly in the forest and the amazing rocky world.Stars or not, it is the best starting point for a great hiking holiday. Highly recommended, also for groups and clubs.
